Review: Paid in full for services rendered and did not receive agreed upon services. Photo booth was hired to take pictures at my daughter's wedding. The photo booth malfunctioned at the event and I was told hard prints of all the pictures that were taken would be sent to me. It has been over 2 months since my daughter's wedding and I have make several requests, via phone and email. I am continually told that they will mail them out right away but still to no avail. After reviewing reviews on YEP, I noticed that 99% of the reviews are negative. Based on the reviews, this company apparently takes customer's money and doesn't perform services as agreed upon.Desired Settlement: Hard copies of all pictures as agreed upon in contract or full refund.

Review: I booked TMZ Booth in September 2013 to provide a photo booth for my May 2014 wedding. It was a promotional deal which required me to pay in full, $527.44. I used my American Express. Two months or so before the wedding, I filled out their booth kit online, which included all information on the venue, set up time, contacts, etc. My husband designed a logo for our photo strips and emailed it. We didnt get a response back to either, and had to call to make sure they were received. My husband spoke to [redacted], the owner, a few times and he assured us he got our emails and would be there. I made sure to also pass on my coordinators cell number and email as I would be pretty much unreachable the whole weekend (no Verizon service in the desert), but she would be with me the whole time. The day of the wedding, no photo booth. My coordinator reached out multiple times and got no answer. Nothing in my emails or messages the next day (Sunday) either. I like to have a paper trail, so I emailed [redacted] by replying to my confirmation/receipt email back from September and said that you failed to show, please refund me the amount below immediately. He responded pretty quickly and apologized, acknowledged that no one showed up and said he would be crediting my American Express the full amount in 3-5 business days.10 business days later, nothing. I emailed him again to no response. I called and no one answered. I reached out to American Express to open a dispute and I submitted the emails as supporting documents. That was on June 11th.Today is July 15th. He did not respond to the American Express inquiry and they have since closed it, stating there's nothing they can do. He will not reply to my emails, and any attempts to contact him through the number listed just leaves you in a automated menu loop. Going by his Yelp page, I am not the first person he has done this too. All I want is my refund, as promised.Desired Settlement: Refund of $527.44 for services he did not provide.

Review: The terms of service state that 60% of the total amount required for their service would be charged when placing the order. However, the have charged the full amount up front. I have tried numerous times to contact them via phone and email and have not received any returned calls or emails.Desired Settlement: We would like to have the total amount refunded and not use their services.

Review: TMZ Booth never showed up for my daughters wedding and they were paid in full. They will not return my emails or telephone calls. The wedding was on 6-7-14 and I have tried numerous times to contact them.Desired Settlement: I want the money back that I paid them and I want to file a complaint against them.

Review: My husband and I had booked with TMZ Booth for our wedding back in Oct 2013 with their contact [redacted]. We paid $581.81 for their services to be at our wedding which was to be on June 14, 2014. On their website, their terms of service state they would only take a $150 deposit and the remaining balance would be taken 30 to 15 days within the event, however, they debited the entire amount and even more than the 60% deposit they stated they would take at most for any event. In April, we added an optional 'slow motion' feature to the photobooth for an additional $200 which they charged. In late April, multiple negative reviews came out and we decided that we needed to cancel our reservation with TMZ Booth.

We notified TMZ Booth on May 3, 2014 that we intended to cancel our booking (41 days before our event). We received a $200 credit back into our bank account for the slow motion feature and was sent an email that we'd be receiving a check in the amount of $431.81 in the mail (our original deposit minus the $150 non-refundable deposit). It is nearly 3 months since we have received this initial email and they have yet to refund us the remaining $431 dollars. We have called, sent numerous emails and voicemails to the company, with either no response or an email from [redacted] stating he will check with the Accounting department.

The phone number provided typically goes unanswered as well making it very difficult to get in contact with someone who can help with the situation. After reading other customer reviews on yelp, this situation seems to be very common where the company will charge the customer the full amount (even though their terms of service state they will not) and not provide any type of refund for services that were not rendered.

This company needs to be investigated for its legitimacy and dealt with appropriately as they have taken not only our money, but many others as well and probably will continue to do so until they are penalized appropriately.Desired Settlement: Would like to be this company investigated for fraud against ourselves and others as well as a refund of our money for services not rendered
