I installed pipe boot on an existing metal roof (not installed by me) the pipe boot was installed properly, when owner informed me it was leaking I was there the next day to investigate, found nothing wrong but installed a little more silicone on under lap of metalHe called again and I went over

Phone response - I have tried to explain to explain to this consumer, there is nothing wrong with the pipe bootThe problem is, the roof is leaking higher upThe water is then running down the shingled decking and coming the hole where the pipe isThere is a gap between the decking and the metal roofThat is what the issue isI will not fix someone else work for freeHe should address the company that installed the roof and have them fix the holes they left

Tom [redacted] from TNT builders he drilled the hole in my metal roof to install vent pipe that created the leak in the roof. He said that he did not have to measure before drilling the hole. In which drilled into a overlay rib where vent leak. I have watched the water flow during a number o rain storms the water leaks in at the top of the overlay rib at the vent boot. Tom we agreed that I buy the two sheets o metal(that I felt you should under warranty)and Tom replaces the two sheets of metal and move vent pipe to a solid rib on metal roof. Tom be a man make this right so we both can move on. You drilled the hole. you did not measure. you created the leak in my roof not me. let me know Tom what you want to do . My next place is channel 4 "Call 4 action" Thank you [redacted]
