Review: The owner of TNT Cycles ([redacted] a one man army business) worked on my motorcycle a few times this past year and always did a great job. However, just recently my bike was in an accident and that the other party was at fault. Estimated damage came in around $1300, which the other partys insurance company cut me a check upfront. So, I went to TNT cycles to get it fixed. Although I was surprised that [redacted] needed the money upfront to order parts and to start work, I thought thats how he does business when handling insurance claims. Normally, any legitimate business would do the work first and you pay after. Considering [redacted] did good work in the past and trustworthy I said okay. However, in the back of my mind a red flag was up when he asked for the money first. At any rate, he kept my bike for 37 days due to back order of parts while I had a car rental. To make a long story short, I paid for the rental assuming to be reimbursed by the other partys insurance, but got the short end of stick because the insurance company needs evidence from [redacted] to show when he ordered the parts and when he received them to justify the 37 days. With that information, the insurance company will then reimburse me the $1791. After many attempts calling [redacted] for the information (and he still has not given me a receipt of the work he did) TNT Cycles appeared to have shut their doors or have gone out of business. His shop is still there with the TNT Cycle sign, but its always closed. Anyway, my insurance company and legal folks are now working it. I have a feeling TNT CYCLES (owner Tim), is in financial dire and may have committed some kind of fraud since he has not respond to any of my calls, the claim adjuster calls and my insurance agent calls.Desired Settlement: TNT Cycles still owes me a cost breakdown (receipt) for the work he did on my bike and he also needs to justify the 37 days he kept my bike for due to back order of parts. The other party's insurance requires this information so that they can reimburse my cost of $1791. At this point TNT Cycles has not returned any of my calls or the insurance company's calls. I need TNT Cycles to provide the information needed to the insurance company so that I can get reimbursed.
