On 12/2016, Mr [redacted] brought his car here to be repairedI informed him it would be a few weeks before we could work on it3-weeks later, we tore the truck apart, upon removing the cylinder heads, we found blown head gasketsThe price for new heads was less than repairing the ones that he hadHe was quoted for new GM heads (about $3500) and he opted for a set of [redacted] cylinder heads (about $2000)I ordered the headsThe company told me it would be a little wait, I thought that meant a couple of weeksI called them back a couple of weeks later, they said they're on backorder, the heads wouldn't ship until SeptemberThey're the only manufacturer you can get them fromI called them back in September and they still had no ETA, so I cancelled the order (per Mr [redacted] ) and I ordered a set of [redacted] cylinder heads insteadOnce we got those, I contacted Mr [redacted] , he said he didn't have the money to pay the labor costs, things had come up and he'd spent itOf course, I would not work on his truck for freeThis happened twice, that I contacted him and he said he didn't have the moneyThat's the reason for it taking an extended amount of timeHe has paid $total, $for parts upfront, $for the cylinder headsThe injectors that he says were in water were in a plastic bag that had gotten moisture in them so I sent them out to have them tested (per his request) and they all tested wellMr [redacted] had a friend rebuilding the turbo charger on the truck, but it took a long time and I didn't get it back until 11/(days before he filed this complaint)Additionally, he tried to get me to have an insurance adjuster come look at the truck so that he can get insurance money so he could pay my labor feesThe fender on the bed of the truck was like that when he purchased itI am still willing to work on the truck, do a great job on it and to warranty my work but I will not work for free
