City tree roots cause a lot of damage to sewer systems and are undetectable. We feel that this is not something that could have been avoided. Review: We purchased a home from [redacted] of TNT Real Estate two months ago. He was the flipper/owner/broker. Within a week of moving in, we had a sewer back-up due to undisclosed tree root infiltration. Less than a month later, we had to recall the plumber to clean out the line again. Now, two weeks later, the same issue. The plumber is pulling nothing up when he cleans out the lines except tree roots. We have been diligent in insuring nothing goes down the drain except water, human waste, septic safe toilet paper, and minute food particles like rice. We believe (and have evidence) that [redacted] intentionally withheld information about this defect.Desired Settlement: We want [redacted] to pay for whatever repair the plumber determines is necessary to resolve this problem, including excavation, replacement of the damaged sewer line, and removal of the tree infiltrating the line.
