Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:If we accept the MV2, which is not an obligation, we accept that TNT does not have to supply title for up to one yearThat is one year when we cannot finance, trade, or sell this vehicleAs the vehicle has multiple issues I would like to sell it today but cannotInstead I am paying insurance on a vehicle that I cannot useI am losing revenueI paid in full and TNT has not only refused to complete their obligations, they did not attempt to do so until after the temporary registration had expiredNow DMV has no record as of today of TNT trying to take care of this case other than their first attempt at days after the saleTNT has done virtually nothing to remedy this issue, though they claimed to the state compliance officer on 1/that they were driving the title to Helena that dayYes, I am a very disgruntled customerWho would not be? Sincerely, [redacted]

I have been working on this with the State of Montana and the State Compliance Officer. With the recent change of The Department of Motor Vehicles moving from Deer Lodge to Helena it has been a struggle. I was given a number from the Compliance Officer to call and have made numerous attemptsI just spoke to the Compliance Officer on this matter as of Friday the 10th of FebruaryI am returning all documentation yet again to Helena

This is in response to the above referenced complaint:I submitted to the State of Montana a North Dakota title to receive a new Montana Title for this vehicle. It was missing a document so I immediately sent over a form to Gallatin County with a copy of the letter from the State of Montana so
they could verify what was happening with this dealThese customers could go in at any time to plate their vehicle with the MVform and supporting documentsThey have chose not to do that at this timeI have never once hung up on anyone and have returned all messages as well letting them know where it was all at. I have been working on this diligentlyThey have not lost any use of this vehicle because they could have been on a one year registrationThis customer has filed numerous complaints seeking compensationThis is just yet another oneThis customer is disgruntled and is looking for free compensationWe have been in business for over years and have not had any complaints

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:If we accept the MV2, which is not an obligation, we accept that TNT does not have to supply title for up to one year. That is one year when we cannot finance, trade, or sell this vehicle. As the vehicle has multiple issues I would like to sell it today but cannot. Instead I am paying insurance on a vehicle that I cannot use. I am losing revenue. I paid in full and TNT has not only refused to complete their obligations, they did not attempt to do so until after the temporary registration had expired. Now DMV has no record as of today of TNT trying to take care of this case other than their first attempt at 45 days after the sale. TNT has done virtually nothing to remedy this issue, though they claimed to the state compliance officer on 1/20 that they were driving the title to Helena that day. Yes, I am a very disgruntled customer. Who would not be?
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: TNT told Marilyn of Gallatin County on 1/20 that they had mailed these documents to Helena that day. They then told Rick K[redacted], the compliance officer, that they sent a "runner" the same day to Helena to hand deliver the title work. To date, DMV does not have record of receiving any more title work since 1/4/17 (when they first tried to transfer title, 5 days after they let the temporary registration lapse). This failure to provide title is stunning because Jessica of Murphy Motors says they sent the missing documentation over to TNT on 1/6, and [redacted] of TNT said he had the new Power of Attorney "in his hand" on 1/13. So why would Helena not have this document at the end of February? In the mean time, we are paying insurance on a vehicle that is nothing but a liability. I can't sell it, collateralize it, or drive it. To accept the MV2 is to agree to waiting a year for title, which clearly will not be forthcoming. Why don't we have title for this? Why has it not been submitted? What is there to work on? Did TNT have ownership of the vehicle? TNT appears to have acted in Bad Faith in providing the legal documents that go with this vehicle. Perhaps worse.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: On 12/12/14 I stopped at this business to have them check my oil to see if it were at the appropriate level. I told the service man that I did not know what kind of oil to put in it and asked if he could show me. He checked the oil and said it was very low and proceeded to come to my car with a large plastic jug filled 3/4 full with oil and poured it into my car. He said he hoped that would be enough and checked it again and told me that it should be "good" now. He charged me $5.00 cash and I left on my trip. At the top of the Butte pass my car made a loud pop and I thought it was on fire out the back end. I immediately pulled over, turned the car off and jumped out. Smoke was billowing out the back and two men stopped to help me. They both checked the engine and oil and told me that the oil was overfilled and there was like 3 quarts over showing on the oil stick. They called me a wrecker and the car was towed to Butte to the [redacted]. A service mechanic looked it over and again told me that there was too much oil in the car and that is why the engine blew up. He told me the engine block was cracked caused by excess oil overflowing and it blew a rod in the engine. He called Suzuki and they told him that the engine was still under warranty and the service person in Billings denied putting that much oil in my car - only "less than a half of a quart.' But if I could get the car to Billings they would replace the warranted engine. I got the car transported back to Suzuki in Billings on 12/20/14. Total towing was $525.00. I asked Sukuki to give me a loaner or rental car for transportation since they said it would take three (3) weeks to get the new engine put in. They denied me any source of transportation and tried to tell me that it was my fault that the incident happened and they were not responsibile for it. It is now 1/20/15 and I still have no car fixed. Now they are trying to say they will not warranty the engine because the engine was "dirty." What can I do?Desired Settlement: I want my warranty honored and my car back! I have been without transportation for six weeks (6) when they promised it would be three. I am a single older lady without any other form of transportation or means to pay for any. It has been a huge inconvenience and now they may not fix it at all. If it wasn't under warranty I would have had it fixed in Butte and not paid the $525.00 to get it back to Bilings and it would have been done much sooner. This was their fault !!

Response:

When this vehicle was brought in, the customer requested to have the oil checked really quick. She said that her and her daughter had checked it and it had appeared low. Her normal maintenance place was closed. [redacted] said he would check the level and put some in if it was low. [redacted] suggested after looking at the oil on the dipstick to have an oil change done either here or [redacted] before leaving. [redacted] found that it was a quart low and added one quart. [redacted] charged her Five dollars for the quart of oil and the time to check it. She left and then called [redacted] several hours later and told him that he over filled her oil and the engine blew. When the vehicle arrived here a week later, when they drained the oil pan there was anti freeze in the oil. That is why it was reading over full on the dipstick. When they started to disassemble the heads it was so full of sludge and the oil pick up tube was so clogged that it was very obvious that this vehicle had not had the maintenance it was suppose to have had. As this vehicle was taken apart there were pictures taken at every step showing the lack of maintenance done. With the lack of maintenance, it has taken a lot of [redacted]'s time to get this approved for warranty. It is obvious by all parties involved that had this vehicle been properly maintained, this issue would never have happened!! As of 02/03/2015 at 03:10 pm [redacted] has gotten the authorization, and without his great relationship with Suzuki, this would NEVER have been warrantied. I am 100% positive that when another shop would have started to pull this vehicle apart that they would then be able to see where the true problem was. The mileage on this vehicle is 74963 and in the owners manual it CLEARLY states that you must properly maintain this vehicle which it has NOT been done. This issue is clearly the customers fault and we are doing our best to help her. She stated that if she would have known that warranty was not gonna cover it, she would have had it fixed in Butte but then says she has no means to get transportation. That is a contradictory statement. The repairs with out warranty would be astronomical!! The customer has YET to provide maintenance actual maintenance records.
