Review: I enrolled in this program to obtain my teaching certification license in January of 2013. It requires that you complete your first year as a teacher, complete modules, attend seminars, and passing additional certification exams. During my first year I became pregnant. My pregnancy was high risk which affected my performance at the school where I was working. I notified my employer of the about my pregnancy and the details surrounding it including the numerous upcoming appointments. I was asked about starting my leave process. I was only 8 weeks and felt it would be too soon to begin my leave. After the notification which occurred during the Thanksgiving break, I was place on a performance plan with my employer. In the end I was fired for not meeting the demands of the performance plan. However, this certification program did not provide me the support need during my time of need or input on how to improve in the areas that were suffer due to my pregnancy. After being fired I was hounded about paying the balance of the tuition that remained, even after the support that was outline in the handbook was not provided. I was unemployed and trying to get my left back in order, and no time was given for me to make an attempt to pay the remaining balance before it was placed in collections. I asked to be place on the deferral with the hopes of trying again next school year after I had my baby. However, I was told that since I was terminated they could not accommodate me. However, on the day I was fired my effectiveness coach asked if I would like to do a medical deferral in order to try again next year. This whole experience has been stressful and I felt all of the things told to me before entering the program were false. After October, I rarely was observed by my coach, which is something that was supposed to happen to ensure my success as a teacher. I would like for the remaining balance of my tuition to be written off since I am still unemployed and currently awaiting the arrival of my baby. I have all medical documentation, emails, and all paperwork outlining the details of my claim.

I sacrificed a lot to pursue my goal of teaching, and now I am left with nothing and in debt.Desired Settlement: I would like my remaining balance of 1,920.00 to be forgiven and taken out of collections.
