Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Manager/ owner could have easily "exchanged" the defective zippo and then got credit from the vendor who supplied him the productBeing a retired major chain retail store manager I know how all this works and this small business person has not learned very much over his years about true customer serviceWhat he is not stating is the fact that zippo charges a fee and shipping charges to replace their lighter which will result in me paying for lighters at his expense.I plan to continue to spread the word about business and its management until I get an apology and a lighter replacement Regards, [redacted]

I informed customer that Zippo has a lifetime warranty that has to be done in house. We leave it up to our own discretion to allow for such returns or not. I did not like the attitude that was being given to me, or the threat that he would spread the word of our poor customer
service. We have been here for almost twenty years and this is the first complaint we have EVER had. He can abide buy his threat and take his business elsewhere
