I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I do not need a refundI would, however, like to add an additional commentThis salon is very close to where I workAfter I had already submitted my complaint, I was telling some people at work about itFour other women had the exact same experience, so I do not believe it was a one-time event or a simple misunderstanding In each of those cases, the women were quoted a price which was then increased by $when they brought out their credit card When one of these ladies questioned them, the woman in charge flat out told her she needed to recover her merchant fees and that's why they do it
My complaint is done, but I would like to see this salon monitored somehow.

No, she was not
penalized for using a credit card; regardless of any form of payments, the price is the sameThere was clearly a misunderstanding during checkout; and yes, the notice sign regards to the price increase will not effect until July 1, We are happy to refund the $1 and addition of $voucher for her to use on the next visitWe are not intended to mislead on our prices of service to any customers and we will make this will never happen again.
Please accept my personal apology for the inconvenience we caused.
