Today's Women's Health Specialists

Up until today, I have had a generally positive experience with [redacted] and the [redacted] department of Today's Women's Health Specialsts. However, today's experience was so appallingly unprofessional that I will not be returning. On September 2nd, I made an appointment with a receptionist named [redacted]. The appointment was scheduled for September 16th at 3:45pm. I arrived on-time for my appointment. When I arrived, the [redacted] office was locked, which confused me. I then went upstairs to the Today's Women's Health Specialists reception area to inquire about my appointment and why the office was locked. The receptionist was unable to give me a conclusive answer and therefore "checked" with someone in the back of the office. When she returned, she told me that [redacted] was seeing patients and that I could reschedule the appointment for another day. The receptionist did not express any sympathy, concern, or apology for losing my appointment. The times they offered to me to reschedule the appointment were not accommodating to my work schedule so I left in disgust and frustration. To make matters worse, as I was leaving the complex, [redacted] pulls up in his truck right in front of me. So not only did they lose my appointment, not apologize for the inconvenience that it caused, but they also lied to me about [redacted] and his whereabouts. This is probably one of the most unprofessional Dr.' offices that I have ever encountered. I do not truly have words for the irritation and anger I feel for being treated so poorly after being a good, loyal patient for about a year. I would not recommend [redacted] to anyone.

Every experience I have had with Today's Women's Health Specialists in Chandler has been a negative one. Upon my first visit, I witnessed an irate patient complaining about being billed for appointments that she did not have. The next time I visited, the doctor I was assigned was not there and I was given to Dr.[redacted]. They just told me when I got there. They told me to come in at a time for blood work and I showed up and it was locked up and closed. I called 3 times in a week and left 3 messages for Dr.[redacted]' medical assistant for a perscription and they never called me back. I called a forth time and was hasseled by the person I spoke to to come in (though it was not needed--I suspect to bill my insurance). I agreed to come in and was given an appointment with Dr. [redacted]. The following day (the day of the appointment), I was notified that Dr. [redacted] would not be able to see me and they would have me see a nurse practitioner rather than my primary care physician. I was so frustrated that I opted to not take the alternative appointment and I called my old doctor from the last state I lived in. He called me back in 10 minutes and took care of the script. Healthcare Partners blows this ramshackle clinic in Chandler out of the water in terms of professionalism and service levels. I will never use Today's Womens Health Specialists as they treat patients as an annoyance and are focused solely on upcharging and billing insurance and demonstrated complete lack of regard for me as a patient and as a human being. Shame on them.

I had a great experience seeing Dr.best. during my pregnancy. One problem though I had a very negative experience with a receptionist named [redacted]. She was the most unhelpful person in that office. She spoke to me rudely and made me hesitate to ever return. She should be in the back of the office not to deal with pregnant moms that are calling in for assistance. [redacted] on the other hand the most helpful.

I had this recommended from someone because they were more personal with patients. I have to say based on my experience that is not the case. the doctor was in and out in 10 min and was more interested in being quick than anything else. I have never had such a terrible annual exam with an OBGYN. They didn't do any where near what I would consider a "full" annual exam since all he did was a pap smear and no other exam. They did take blood work when I was there because I noted to them when asked that it had been years since I had, had that done. They called me a week later to go over some results of a low vitamin D level that came back. they wanted me to come back in (no doubt so they could charge my insurance again) to which I asked to just have the doctor call me to discuss, to which I was told was not an issue. It's been 2 weeks since that call and I'm still waiting for a response even though I have called back and left messages 2 times. They are clearly not interested in actually talking to me or concerned about my health at all or they would be calling me back. even if to say I had to come in. I'm not sure how I would ever trust that they would handle an issue if I had cancer or needed pre-natal care if they don't actually care to call me back on something smaller. They also tried to bill my insurance for a "educational fee" to which I had to call 2 times to talk to their billing to find out what that was and make sure they were not billing me for something that I didn't receive. I would NEVER go back here to have a second rate exam and be treated like they could care less about not only my health but my time and money.
