Mrs [redacted] , I can appreciate that you are upset because you feel your mother was taken advantage of I would first like to say that integrity is a part of our daily business and in the best interest of your mother, trying to repair the burnt wire on the compressor for the second time in less than a month was not the correct thing to do Doing the right thing when nobody is looking is not a common practice in our industry and deception runs rampant We refuse to participate in these antics and will always do the right thing by the customer We felt the right thing for your mother was to either replace the compressor or install a new heat pump system However, in an effort to be fair we offered a refund on the remaining portion of your mothers ESP plan to help offset the cost you experiencedWhen you asked us for a replacement price, it included a no hassle extended parts and labor warranty, therefore offering your mother piece of mind that she would have a worry free years with no more risks related to her air conditioning system Please understand that the repair that you had by another company is “temporary” and will fail again in the near future You refused our offer and told us you were going to call the Revdex.com and [redacted] * At this point we have no recourse other than to withdraw our offer to cover our expenses we have incurred from your actions I would be willing to keep our offer of a $refund, on the table if you would agree to remove the negative comments that you have posted on various sites I’m sorry you felt taken advantage of but please let me know how you would like to proceed Sincerely, [redacted] J & W Heating and Air [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: This company owes my Mother the balance of her prepaid maintenance /service agreement $I did accept that offer and was told a check in the amount of $would be mailed to her on May 11, We asked for the cost of having the wiring and wiring harness replaced a separate issueWe were told in writing by J & W Heating and Air that the problem was the compressor was bad (not true)When I ask for the cost spent with another company for the repair; I was also told we did not give them time to repair their work, again not true. My Mother is due the refund of $163.50, which is the balance of her maintenance/service planIt is still my opinion that the work J & W Heating and Air 's did at my Mother's home was inferior and my Mother was misinformedIt's my opinion that what they are asking is basically blackmail, $in order to remove negative comments I will respond to their reviews saying the matter has been settled amicably, when and if she receives the balance of pre-paid her maintenance/service plan $This was explained via telephone to their *** ***He told me they would be sending out the check for $on May 11, He also said he had to speak to the*** regarding any other reimbursement.
