behind the right side armHe was given a written estimate to replace the shaft which he approved, he then brought the tractor in, we looked it over and saw nothing else wrong so the shaft was replacedThe rockshaft was cycled and the tractor was parked out back ready for customer pickupCustomer came to pickup the tractor, he drove it from the back of shop to the front of the building and when he loaded it on his trailer he noticed hydraulic oil leaking from a crack in the transmission housing on the right side in front of the rockshaft that we replacedThe crack was behind the rear wheel and hard to seeWe did not run the tractor long enough for the oil to leak before we took it apart or after we fixed itWe were not aware of this at the time but the tractor had to be run a certain amount of time for oil to get to the crack in the housingWe looked the tractor over and found nothing that we did could have caused the crackDetermined that over loading the rockshaft twisted the shaft and cracked the aluminum housing** *** was given an estimate to replace the transmission housing and our conversation ended there. The tractor was not leaking when it was dropped off at Polen ImplementWe ran the tractor in order to remove the post hole diggerWe drove it to the garage from the barnWe also loaded the tractor onto the trailer and dropped it off at Polen ImplementThere were no leaks during any of that timeThe tractor was removed from the trailer and the service man drove it around to the back of the shop himselfHe made no note of any leaks at that timeThe tractor had been run for a sufficient amount of time at that point for any oil to heat up and begin to leakI cannot speak as to the length of time that they had run the tractor after completing the repairs, however, in just the amount of time it took to drive the tractor from the back of the building to the trailer to load it there was a significant leakThe bottom line is, the tractor was not leaking oil when it was dropped off for repairsThere was a significant leak when it was picked up following the repairIf we had been notified of this leak that basically renders tractor useless for anything other than using the bucket, we would not have paid to have it fixedIf Polen Implement is unwilling to repair the leak, then they need to refund the money for the initial repairs that were made

After reviewing the complaint and all other options Polen Implement would like to offer a full refund of the repair on [redacted] tractor.
