Together Health

I was recently notified by my pharmacist that they had received a request from Together Health regarding a "Prescription Card Update" I do NOT, nor have I ever had a prescription card or any other relation with Together Health! Their fax stated, " Your patient has requested you update their pharmacy card information in your systemPlease update with new information..." On that fax from TH was my legal name and date of birth, along with a prescription card with TH's logo, my name, a BIN #, a group ID, and member ID Thank God the pharmacy contacted me before releasing any information! I told them that I had never heard of Together Health and did not apply for any pharmacy program from themThe pharmacist gave me a copy of the fax so I could pursue contacting Together Health and request getting my information removed from their system, and find out how they got my information in the first place I contacted them the following day with the number that they provided on the fax: *** After never receiving a human answer, and just an automated run around, I went to the web site for Together Health and noticed the phone number was off by one number...it was actually *** A female answered the phone saying it was, Together Health I asked her nameshe hesitated and finally said "***"....right! Anyway, I stated my name and told her the situation, that I would like to know where they got my legal name and birth date She said I must have went on line to request their information I assured her I had never done that, and I just don't go on line releasing my information to any company I asked to get my name taken out of their system She said, "OK" and was going to hang upI insisted she take down my name, because by this point I had only said it at the beginning of the conversation, and had never repeated it Anyway, she said she would remove me from the systembut I am quite sure that will not get done Just know that your information is out there and had it not been for a diligent pharmacist, more information could have been released to this company against my authority...so, for that I thank my pharmacist Beware! There is always someone out there trying to steal your information!

I received a cold call frm TH and after speaking with them for minutes they determined they could get the manufacturer to supply my insulin for free, with a $monthly admin fee to THI was unemployed and unisuredAfter the signup fee of $and the first monthly fee of $and numerous followup phone calls and no progress, they waived my second month's feeI still had received nothingMore numerous followups, faxing of tons of forms, and another $monthly fee, I finally received a letter stating I may be able to receive a month supply of my secondary insulinA month later I had still not received anythiing so I called TH to cancel, and I was offered free monthsI cancelled and the next day received a 2nd letter from the manufacture staing they determined I couled be covered elsewhere and they would not be supplying any medicine
$total in fees! Tons of time wasted and numerous faxing of forms
I should have known if it sounds too good to be true...!
