While the company did send me a $gift card in effort to resolve this issue, their response is not accurate.1) I did not file the claim against the Cypress store I filed it against the rewards program because of their misleading advertising The store personnel were very friendly and explained that they would love to issue me points, but can't since they don't have the proper machine to do so They suggested I contact corporate, which I did.2) I did not sign up for the Irvine store because I did not know of participating stores The representative assigned me to that store after I submitted my claim.3) They have not changed their outgoing emails to clarify As of 11/25/2015, they email has no such disclaimer for the double points on Tuesday, nor does a following email on 11/27/offering free soup say that it's available only at participating locations I now know, but to a consumer, who is not aware of these issues, it's misleading.
