There is nothing wrong with Mr***'s shower doorDuring this project, there was never any correspondence with Mr ***, but rather, his General Contractor His General Contractor contacted us to install the shower enclosure and was onsite to oversee the whole installation as wellAfter completion of the installation, his General Contractor approved the final product, which turned out to everybody's satisfactionOur office then contacted the General Contractor for payment which he paid immediately If there was an issue, the General Contractor would not have paid the remaining b***ce The install went swimmingly and the shower system looks wonderful Eight months after using the shower, Mr*** called in a rude manner and demanded we come and take care of an issueWe sent our technician immediately and he said that there is nothing wrong with the shower system and everything still looked wonderful(Please note that our technician has installed hundreds of shower doors for Toledo Glass with no major issues such as this with any other customer)After speaking with Mr*** again, we contacted the manufacturer of the shower system and asked them to send us a sheet for the tolerances allowed We forwarded the information to the General Contractor with the hope that he could clear things up with Mr***We aim to please everyone, even Mr *** But, after being in business for years (1976), it is now realized that we can't please everyone, even when we are within the industry tolerances
Thank you for your feedback, Mr. [redacted]. You are correct that glass manufacturers have tolerances (especially with the heat treatment of tempered glass) and there is a possibility that minimal bowing may occur. In your finished product however, we were well within industry tolerances...
and we believe we provided a product that worked perfectly well within the out-conditions that exist in your shower. The bigger challenge, however, is that we installed your enclosure in August of 2015 and there was no cause of concern by you or your contractor until 8 months later, which put us in a position that we are unable to go back to the manufacturer and request a new product, due to elapsed time. Please know that we are sympathetic to your situation and would like you to be happy with your shower enclosure. We can certainly order you a new door/panel with installation at a discounted rate, however, there is risk of minimal changes with tolerances already experienced. Thank you again for your feedback~
