We signed a six month lease through RPM, for a house in Helena I gave two stars (not one) to this rating because during the length of the lease, we had no issues with RPM to speak of When we had a leak in the shower, it was quickly remedied However, at the expiration of the lease, it was not a pleasant experience We were never once late on our rent, and fulfilled each and every term of our lease agreement RPM, specifically, MrB [redacted] tried at length to wrongfully keep our security deposit He did not act in good faith, ignoring our communications to him, in an attempt to resolve the situation I ended up having to involve our attorney, and even after the attorney provided legal interpretation of our lease and gave clear cut explanation regarding he would need to return the deposit, MrB [redacted] refused This then resulted in a very lengthy email explanation of contract interpretation from my attorney In the end MrB [redacted] did return the security deposit, however the whole situation could have, and should have, been avoided, by just simply acting in good faith and doing the right thing

To: Dispute Resolution Consultant for the Revdex.com. My name is [redacted], and I am the Postmaster of [redacted]. I talked with Ms. [redacted] about these issues last week. I apologized for misplacing her money order, and assured her that her PO Box would not be closed. I have contacted her twice, and...
we have put a tracer on her money order to see if it has been cashed. I assured her that we will make things right. The supervisor ([redacted]) she referred to, is actually a supervisor in training ([redacted]), and he was actually following Postal policy. I told him that next time something like this comes up, to please get me involved. Once again, we are researching the money order issue and will not close Ms. [redacted]’s PO box. If the money order has not been cashed, the Post Office would cancel that money order and issue the customer a new one. Since Ms. [redacted] could not bring the receipt down to the Post Office, I started the money order tracer (we waived the $6.10 fee) and used my own name. The new money order would be issued to me, and I would apply it to her box rent. If you have any other questions or concerns in this matter, please contact me at [redacted]. Sincerely, [redacted] Postmaster of [redacted] 8805 W Van Buren [redacted].
