Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Dear [redacted] , I am rejecting Tom Clark Motorstports statement regarding this situation and the denial of claim [redacted] from the warranty companyMy complaint ID is [redacted] In May 2016, I discovered that the EGR cooler was not doing anything and was leaking coolant into the intake side of the engine [redacted] wanted $to replace EGR coolerI could not see spending this money on something that was already deleted, as it was upon purchase of this vehicleI still have the EGR cooler and the block off plate that was on the vehicle when purchased(This vehicle also did not have it's muffler or catalytic converter present when purchased.) I assumed that Tom Clark sold me a warranty with knowledge that everything would be coveredThe salesman insisted that I purchase this warranty "in case something happens to the truck that we can't fix." The modification to this truck was made prior to purchase and Tom Clark is assuming that it was not, without evidenceI have had nothing but trouble with this vehicle since it's purchase In regards to the refund of purchase price of the warranty, I was never notified of this or have never seen evidence of thisI would like a copy of the refund check which was sent to our lien holder on this vehicle.Thank you for your assistance in this matter

In response to the letter ID # ***, Mr*** *** service contract cancellation refund was sent to the financial institution which holds the lien on his vehicle being that the original service contract was financed through this lien holderThat refund was issued on 8/26/as per the
warranty company.Regarding the "modification" as evidence of the letter attached per Mr*** the modification was made post- saleDue to the fact that the modification was not performed prior to the sale from Tom Clark Motorsports we will not be offering any other type of refund.Susan S***

Dear [redacted],          I am rejecting Tom Clark Motorstports statement regarding this situation and the denial of claim [redacted] from the warranty company. My complaint ID is [redacted].      In May 2016, I discovered that the EGR cooler was not doing anything and was leaking coolant into the intake side of the engine. [redacted] wanted $1000.00 to replace EGR cooler. I could not see spending this money on something that was already deleted, as it was upon purchase of this vehicle. I still have the EGR cooler and the block off plate that was on the vehicle when purchased. (This vehicle also did not have it's muffler or catalytic converter present when purchased.) I assumed that Tom Clark sold me a warranty with knowledge that everything would be covered. The salesman insisted that I purchase this warranty "in case something happens to the truck that we can't fix."     The modification to this truck was made prior to purchase and Tom Clark is assuming that it was not, without evidence. I have had nothing but trouble with this vehicle since it's purchase.          In regards to the refund of purchase price of the warranty, I was never notified of this or have never seen evidence of this. I would like a copy of the refund check which was sent to our lien holder on this vehicle.Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Review: I bought a vehicle from the dealer in the beginning of June. Today is the last day of September and I have not received my registration sticker from the state. I have talked to PA DMV and the vehicle is still registered to the dealer. I have talked to the dealer several times and all they have done is send a new temp tag in mail. I have since been stopped by the police multiple times for this registration issue. This is 100% unacceptable. My children have had to see my husband and I questioned on multiple occasions by police about this. This was there responsibility not ours yet they have not done their job at all!Desired Settlement: This needs taken care of!

Review: Vehicle was bought less than 30 days ago and the battery is completely dead! The Battery in it is apparently well under sized and they said that everything in it was good and correct. That is a bold faced lie.Desired Settlement: Tom Clark employees lied about vehicle condition in stating that all parts were at spec. Vehicle is dead unless I pay $160 for a battery. They need to own up to what they did here.

Review: To [redacted] Today at 3:31 PM ATTACHMENT IS BATTERY RECEIPT FOR $92.01Just went to start my 2001 Yamaha V-star that I paid $3,000.00 for and found out that the battery is dead.Long story short, took it to Batteries Plus and they said it was dead and would not hold a charge. Cells are bad.Had to buy a new one that cost me $92.01 which I want reimbursed for asap. I also need my license plate that was included in the sale, sent to me with the battery reimbursement.[redacted] ###-###-####PURCHASE DATE 2/24/15. PICKED UP 2/28/15. FIRST STARTUP (ATTEMPT) 3/8/15(VIN) [redacted] BOUGHT FROM TOM CLARK MOTORSPORTS [redacted] ###-###-####Desired Settlement: I want my license plate that I was told was included in my saleI also want reimbursed for 92.01 for a battery I had to buy once I took possession of motorcycle. I was also told that the wheels of the motorcycle were to be chrome cleaned and they were not done when I picked vehicle up. I had a trailer and drove one hour to get there and one hour back and I was very disappointed it was not cleaned at all as promised. They had no problem taking my $3,000.00 cash.

Review: I bought a used vehicle from them 12/13/2014. 1/7/15 I contacted them to send me my title, as I had not received it. I have contacted them many times since, told I will have it in a couple of days, but still no title.

The temporary tag has expired, I can not plate my vehicle without the title. I am left with a very expensive lawn ornament.Desired Settlement: I want my title. They should also pay for rental of a like vehicle, since I am deprived of use of my vehicle due to their negligence.

Review: In July of this year I purchased a 2005 Cadillac Deville from Tom Clark Motor Sports. Since purchasing the car, it has needed a number of crucial repairs. First, a week after purchase the "service engine" light came on. I took the car to my mechanic where it was discovered the car was leaking coolant and oil. To resolve the coolant issue, the air pump and water pump needed replaced. The repairs are not covered on my powertrain warranty so I had to pay out of pocket. The oil leak has yet to be fixed. 2 weeks later, the car would barely stop when applying the brakes. After taking the car back to my mechanic, it was discovered the brakes and rotors were nearly worn down to the nub and needed replaced on all 4 wheels. The next month, while traveling on the PA Turnpike with my 2 small children, the engine overheated and I had to pull the car over on the side of the road. At that time, I was unable to continue traveling safely in the vehicle and had to absorb considerable expense to have it towed as well as make arrangements to get my children home from the side of the road. The gaskets had blown and needed replaced. This repair is not covered on the powertrain warranty, so once again, I had to pay out of pocket. Last but not least, just this week when taking the car to get the inspection done, the car overheated again. Thankfully I made it 2 blocks from my mechanic, but still had to push the car the final 2 blocks. As I write this correspondence the car is at my mechanic getting serviced for the 5th time in as many months. Prior to buying the car, I asked if there were any problems at all with the vehicle, and was told none at all by the staff at Tom Clark. On the morning of 11/13/13, I called Tom Clark MotorSports and spoke with [redacted] and explained the entire situationto him. Aside from being rude, he told me I shouldnt have bought an eight year old Cadillac. You only purchased the powertrain warranty which doesnt cover much. I cant do anything for you."Desired Settlement: Tom Clark Motosports should be held responsible for the vehicle they sold to me. I specifically asked if there were any issues at all with the car and was told "none at all" by the staff. Also, I was told that "if anything goes wrong with the car you're covered for 3 years by the powertrain warranty." I was misled on the mechanical condition of the car and the validity of the powertrain warranty. I would like to take the car back to for a refund or be able to trade the vehicle for another.
