I have been trying to get Tom Littlefield Siding to make good on guarantees they made about steel siding they placed at my home. The steel siding is failing, rusting at the base in the back of my home. I also have problems with the under eaves of my home. I have tried multiple ways of getting a hold of Mr. Littlefield to come and look at the product issues. I have used both the US Mail and the phone. On two occasions over the past few years, I have actually gotten him on the phone. On both occasions, he said he would come to my home and take a look at the problems. I even went so far as to take pictures and send them to him so we could discuss in advance of a trip out to the house. Mr. Littlefield promised a call back to schedule an appointment during one of the call times I got a hold of him. The other time he said he would be over to my home the next week. He never called back or came to the house. My siding continues to corrode and I was given a warranty that protected against what is happening at my home. I am simply trying to enforce my warranty and receive siding repair services.

As far as the steel material failing we have contacted the factory and haven't received a response back. I will contact Mr. on July 6th regarding his complaint.

Mr. Littlefield came to our home today look at the problems. We will await to hear back from him regarding the factory and repair plan.

We are still waiting for Tom Littlefield Siding to return and fix work issues for our siding job. Phone calls that actually were answered have led to no follow-up. The US mail inquiries have also yielded no response. It is sad to think this may be headed for civil court when it is something as simple as ordering the proper siding and having a professional replace most likely.

I have put in a request to have my past post deleted from Revdex.com. I have a couple of issue areas with steel siding that is rusting and corroded on a section of my home. I have called Mr. Littlefield on two occasions and he indicated he would come and take a look. He never came to look. I sent him a letter in the mail with pictures detailing what I needed to be repaired and I also never heard a thing. One thing that was attractive about steel siding was the durability and the guarantee/warranty. I am still holding out hope the Mr. LIttlefield decides to be responsive to a home that has been sided by his company twice in the past 30 years. Where are you?

We had steel siding installed in 2013. We were very impressed by our installer and the quality during the process. We are so glad we chose steel over other products. We have had no problems with our siding. it has stood the test of some hardy winters, hail storms, and a few baseballs. We are so happy and wouldn't change a thing seven years later.

originally had aluminum siding that was installed by tom's father 18 years prior. got hail damage and needed replaced. had new steel siding installed over the winter. had to redo a few areas that were not aceptable to me, don't feel a quality job was being done. tom agreed and redid several areas. after they redid a few, but not all. I payed him all but $900 dollars, bill was $16xxx+. wanted trim and dirty paw prints removed before payment. also caulking was a mess, some areas were missed and others needed to be redone. looked like a child did it, caulk all over trim. tom agreed to do all these thing. they fixed the trim, and cleaned the dirty paw prints that were in several spots on my trim. he then sent a notice for payment with a note that said he woud finish caulking when it got warmer, this was mid april. I payed against my wifes objections. since then I noticed gutters had a sag in middle at entrance of house. got to looking and found no pitch to gutters either. checked gutters I coud see with step ladder and found 3 of 4 had standing water in them. talked to tom april 23 said they would com and fix. talked to him twice since, last time was june 5. its july 1 and still no word.quality of work was sub par from what his dad was. customer service is rediculous. I expected quality but got sub par materials and workmanship. now have unresolved issues on top of that!

He complained about the gutter wasn’t working right it was full of leaves and clogged. We cleaned them and didn’t charge him for the cleaning. As far as the fingerprints we cleaned the one spot off. We re caulked the front windows as asked. Then he at a later date wanted the other windows re caulked. We have not been back to caulk them yet.

I am rejecting this response because:

They spent an hour on roof, wife said there was pounding up there. They seemed to flow better. There was standing water in them, now not so much.

Didnt want stuff recaulked! Wanted 3 windows caulked. They never were caulked to begin with.
