Review: I purchased car on 12/21/2012 for $6,000.00. The dealer did not tell me there were 14 issues wrong with the car at time of purchase. The dealer did not tell me the wires on the car were rotted out. The dealer did not specify that certain issues would not be covered by the warranty. I have spent over $2,000 in repairs to this car which I've only owned for 9 months.Desired Settlement: Just for Tom masano to stand behind this car they sold me and trade it for a reliable and dependable car.

Review: Sometime in the middle of March 2013 I had received an email from Tom Masano Ford in [redacted], pa advising me that my husband and I were pre-approved for a vehicle. I contacted [redacted] (the salesman) and I advised him that I would only purchase a car if there was a firm approval. I will not purchase based on a pre-approval. This was due to the nature of both my husbands, and my employment. We are both employed through Federal Work Study. After speaking for about a week he said he found a bank that would finance a vehicle. He told me it was going to be a 2006 Saturn Ion with 92,000 miles. He said that this was a firm approval and not a pre-approval. My husband and I went to the dealership, we saw the car and agreed to purchase the vehicle. We signed the contract that the bank ([redacted]) would hold the loan. We were reassured multiple times by both the salesman, and the finance manager, [redacted] that there were no problems and that the approval would not be reversed since it was not a pre- approval but a guaranteed approval. At this time we were also told that they would never let us drive off the lot with a car unless it was rightfully ours to take. We gave the dealership a $1200.00 down payment and we happily drove our new car home. The bank took their first payment from my account on 04/29/2013 as per the contract. I received a call from [redacted] (finance manager) around April 17th that the bank backed out of the contract and we had to either get a co-signer or bring the car back. He said it was because we did not have enough income. I provided him with up to date pay stubs as per his request to show our income. He said he had misread the approval, and it was actually a pre-approval. I found a co-signer and called him back. He said at that time there was no need for a co-signer because he received a for sure approval from [redacted]. All we had to do was sign the paperwork and everything would be great. We went to the dealership and signed the paperwork. We were told at that time that what happened before would not happen again and that car was ours. We were told on multiple occasions during our visit and were even told that no one understood what happened. We again signed for the car on 05/21/2013 only with their reassurance this would not happen again. I received a call from [redacted] and they told me everything was fine and that they needed to verify basic information. They verified our address and insurance carrier. I received notice from [redacted] that the title correction was made and it reflected [redacted] as the lien holder. In the meantime we purchased items to personalize the car and had installed them. We also did an oil change to the car since the car alerted us to the fact an oil change had not been done in sometime. Today, 06/17/2013 I received a call from [redacted] advising that [redacted] rejected the application. He said it was due to the amount of income we have. He demanded the car immediately. This time he did not say he made a mistake. He tried to place the blame on us. We gave them everything they asked for and did everything they asked. From the beginning this is what we were trying to avoid. And that is why we had disclosed all information to them that they requested. He said that upper management at the dealership wanted the car today. I spoke with an attorney, and was told we have a case since there is an active contract that we have not defaulted on. He also said that it would cost a lot of money since Mr. Masano has an attorney at a larger law firm that is related to him, and they would most likely fight tooth and nail. So at this point we will be without a car, and most likely our $1200.00 since they will take money off for mileage and for anything we did to the car, such as 2 window decals. So no money no car is what we are told we are looking at. Please help because we are stressed beyond belief about this and unsure what to do. Also, they have managed to mess up what little credit my husband and I had by making multiple inquiries.Desired Settlement: We would like Masano to honor the last sales contract and take our payments as per the contract. The payment amount is $201.00 a month for 36 months and allow us to retain ownership of the vehicle. This payment amount also includes an interest rate of 21% that was a part of that contract. We are not looking for a free car we are looking to purchase the car as agreed upon in the contract.

Review: Sent a letter to om Masano Ford on May 18th, 2013 via Express Mail. We have proof that it was received it on May 20th. The letter was sent to cancel our Ford Extended Service Agreement. Per wording of the contract, we have right to cancel the policy for a full refund within 30 days of signing the contract. The contract was signed on April 30th. We sent the cancellation letter within the 30 day window. We have not received any response or refund. We requeseted a response within 5 days days (May 25th) if there was any issues or concerns. Did not receive anything. Sent additional follow letter. Still no response. We are still waiting for the $2,235 refund to be posted to our [redacted] car loan. At very least , this car dealership should have sent a written response to my cancellation notice. The contract is a legal binding agreement between the two parties. Please let me know if more details are needed.Desired Settlement: A full refund , which would be a $2,235 refund to be posted to our [redacted] car loan. Also, interest is being charged against this amount, since we added the cost of the service agreement to our car loan. The refund should be posted very soon.

Review: I bought the car used on the same day the old owner had it. It was never 5 point expected but I was told if I buy it as is they would pay for all the repairs. in the first three months everything went, The oil and fuel pump, The radiator and the brakes. In the seond year I was told I only had to pay for half of parts and labor because all was looked over for a 5 point expection every 3000 miles and inspected and passed. it snowed on January 16th, 2013. The visability was only five feet with 30 mile s of gust of wind and heavy snow. I slide into a ploed snow bank on route [redacted] plowed by Penn Dot. It took me 1 hour to get from Downing town to [redacted] on the [redacted] Turnpike, It usually takes 15 minutes. I was at my second working from 8)0 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to the extrem cold of sitting the forth cylendar ceased alonge with the coild pack sensor breaking. I stopped at [redacted] in [redacted] town to have it look over by a licensed mechanic, he confirmed it was both car repair issues due to the extrem cold and hitting a snow bank where the snow came up into the car by undecarrage. Tom Massano displayed poor customer service stating I was the only responsible party since I brought a car from them used and they were not going to pay half of the parts or repairs. They held ny car for two weeks at the auto body shop and refused to cooperate with the [redacted] Car insurance adjusted to get it from the auto body center to the auto center for a dignosis, according to the [redacted] adjustor, [redacted]. with whom I was not present to witness. he refused to ask to reconsider a expediate diagnosic tesating to be done. Between [redacted] auto center and [redacted] I also lost two weeks of overtime for my rental in which I am now forced to pay over my thirty day limit. Neither businsses wish to take any blame on their part, however recants the actual happens when it has been reported to the [redacted] Car insurance Adjustor Superviing coordinator.Desired Settlement: I desire a refund on the $79.00 I had to pay for the diagnosis and one half the bill for a new coil pack and parts and labor. Credit of 1/2 towards my totoal bill will be suffice since I had this agreeement from first day of purchase after my 6 month warrenty had to expired. I believe it would be an ethical thing to do since I will give this car to my daughter also to drive until we trade it in this year for an upgrade after income tax return.I believe driving the car in this disrepair is unsafe

Review: I purchased a vehicle for my son in college (Vermont) from this dealership.

All documentation/advertisement for this vehicle states "air conditioning."

I purchased this vehicle from out of state. (Florida)

Upon arrival, (my son brought it home during a break) I discovered that it had no air conditioning and called the dealership. I requested that they either refund the cost of an air conditioning unit in the [redacted] or pay to install one for me.

I was told that once the vehicle had left the lot, "it was no longer the dealership's responsibility."Desired Settlement: I had to have an air conditioning unit installed in the [redacted] and would like to be reimbursed.

I have receipts for the following:

Parts = $1165.00

Labor = $ 865.00

Total amount requested = $2030.00
