I am rejecting this response because:No this is not what happened As Mr *** states they damage the wall bringing up the appliance up and I told them I would take care of damage and spackle it right then and there I was the only person on property when they bought up the appliance to kitchen I was outside talking to neighbor not to be in wayI went in briefly to to see if help was needed but would of been in way so went back outside The water line was installed by me and refrig was push in place, from front to back not side to sideThe marks on floor are from the top step bull nose into the kitchen back into hallway and then back into kitchen and side to sideThe marks were in line of how they took in appliance Nothing was used to protect the brand new floor. Mark the delivery man came outside to tell me that they where all done and were leaving. Mark came back to house a day later to look at floor and stated that they must of did it and His boss may have a floor guy to repair it but tells his boss otherwise This is in no way of me trying to get money from tom *** for something he claims I must of done, I just want them to be responsible for what they did

I am staying with original response, the only thing I will add in reply is that my driver Mark went back and to try to avoid this situation and stated that we know a flooring person who can go look at to see what can be done and what would cost so a hopeful reasonable end to this matterCustomer said his friend did the flooring and said at first was $ then became around $ than became $Customer had his "friend'" FIX As you see we were never given the opportunity to have a professional flooring company look at to see damaged as well as what would cost to correctLaminate flooring is a relatively in- expensive and flooring company says his people get dollars per foot to installThe total of about feet of flooring at even dollars a foot is $and dollars times feet to install is another $ At this price we would have given customer $to avoid this situation even though we deny doing just to avoid going to small claims court That would have been fair and we would have settled and ended this Also, as customer was calling me he always asking me to just put thru my insurance , which I would have if we had done but I will not put thru insurance when someone is trying to make us responsible for his own actions and then inflating a bill !! Ill take my chances in court with customer at this point

use has been a delivery person for over twenty years , delivering for my company as well as two other appliance stores so I use a professional person with twenty plus years in appliance delivery service  for a living . When we did make a small mark in customers wall the customer was right there following my delivery people as there was a helper with driver, and customer said no problem he would fix this was at 1015am. As my delivery people brought in appliance they needed to remove the doors to bring in as was such a tight fit. They brought in using a hand truck with coated wheels minus the doors. They set in place and then brought up doors and re-attached once in place. Since owner did not have a water line run , owner said leave out and he would have waterline run and put unit back in place by himself. We left at 1115 am with job complete from us. Customer was there and the delivery people said we were done and leaving.Customer called me at my store at 215pm saying we scratched his floor and sent pictures. I then called delivery person and they had no idea of what customer claim was about. My delivery person then explained to me customer was going to install waterline and put appliance back in place. I told him to come in to see pictures of  damage . I was told once doors were attached it added weight to appliance and customer who him self tried to attach his own waterline or a plumber , then must have pushed appliance back and forth to run that line and set into place and in doing so they scratched floor not us. I make it a point to say we left at 1115 am and customer notified after we left some three hours later !!!!  and this is someone who followed right behind my delivery people watching everything they were doing !! How is it possible that he never said at 1115 there were scratches on floor ? why some three hours later ? because homeowner or someone he had at house after we left moved appliance not realizing what could happen to floor. We even went back to look at and explained to customer what had really happened at was not something we caused and was noticeable damage all would have seen by all and we would have accepted responsibility right then!!  What this is an attempt to make me pay for the homeowners own negligence and conveniently blame my company !!  I will not be held as a escape goat for customers own lack of accepting their own responsibility and I wont accept his fraudulent claims!!
