I had WOW Cable services for about two years but price went up and I ended up paying some dollars for mb and basic cable service which I thought was way too much so I decided to cancel and go with somebody else which gave me a better dealI called WOW to cancel services and I was told that within a few days somebody will stop by to disconnect services and pick up equipmentthe day before the scheduled disconnection and picking up equipment I even receive a confirmation phone callof course nobody shows up for the equipment and after waiting and waiting I call WOWI am being told that the technician was not told to pick up equipment and it is nobody's fault and there is no other available date but within three weeks or soI ask to talk to manager and I barely get to be scheduled for equipment pick up on the 30th of JulyI accepttoday(19th of July) I get a letter from WOW stating that if I do not return equipment, a collection agency will take my case and try to collect the amount of $- the value of the equipmentIronically I guess the whoever scheduled the 30th has nothing to do with whoever sent me the letter, maybe one of them do not even works at WOW I ended up returning it myself, because I needed it done and over withtheir strategy worked just fine on me and that just made me feel even better that I canceled the serviceWOW still owes me about half of a month of serviceLet's see how many phone calls I need to make to get that back from them.I

I have been with WOW since it came to our cityNo problem till they went digitalNothing but trouble and no resolution years! Finally got a tech out who figured out the problem - only one who bothered to work on it but when he left he forgot to reconnect the cable and tv, hence no picture Called supvsr# and they sent tech out He reconnected the TV's thought problems with WOW were done NOPE! In addition to service problems, I have been fighting with them for MONTHS about billingI don't like paying for things I don't use - sports channel - and broadcast fees, and charging the same for the "bundle" but they took away STARZ, BBC, etc! And my bill went from @ $a month to $148.00! I was assured I'd be "grandfathered in" at my price due to "loyalty" LIED! Each time I called I got someone who said it would be taken care of - next bill, same thing only additional charges for what wasn't paid (WOW c/s said not owed)! I have been on the phone for months and nothing is ever resolved C/S is terrible! I have noticed that most of the reps barely are understandable (English) Outsourcing??? At any rate I called again last Sunday, and again had to go thru the whole story because now the bill went to $174.00! they charged me for sending the tech out to reconnect the equipment that wasn't done! And I was told previous month my bill would be $a month I literally dropped all services down to basic! I argued with c/s again - finally got a supvsr- not much better! Bill now at $for a year - still way overcharged for what I am getting I told them if any more problems I'll be on phone again! Interestingly last Jan I filed a complaint with Revdex.com and got a response from WOW home office and local office, asking me to drop the complaint and all would be taken care of I said no - not till it is completely fixed! Somehow my complaint was closed the same week I later filed another this year due to not getting things resolved I left a message on the CEO's phone giving all the info and asking for call back - NOTHING! There has been ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE from WOW about the complaint filed My advice? Stay away! As soon as I find different service I'm gone WOW DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS! Their TV commercials should not be believed and they should save that money and give their customers back their prices and channels So people, this is the "short version" so beware!
