To Whom It May Concern,My name is *** ***, Service Manager with Atzenhoffer MR*** *** came into Atzenhoffer on the morning of August 3rd, Mr*** came in for a maintenance routine, Lube,oil and filter changeUpon completion of oil change he was informed he had a
low oil pressure switch that was leaking, which caused the vehicle to be qt low of oilWe also noticed his low tire pressure light was onWe gave MR*** a quote for the repair which was $plus taxHe agreed to the repairMr*** was then informed that we did not have a loaner vehicle available, and that enterprise was a option for him that is here in houseHe was informed that the rental would not be covered by Atzenhoffer, because it is not a warranty repairThe customer left the building with a rentalDuring the process of recieving the part at our dealership, many phone calls were traded back and forth between ourselves and MR.*** on the status of the part and vehicleThe part took an extra day to be recieved, which we informed the customer aboutUpon MR.***s arrival to Atzenhoffer he immediately came to my office to discuss the charges of the rental only, not the charges of the repairWe had a conversation that lasted about ten minutesHe was wanting to receive ALL of the rental money spent for the repairI informed him that I would refund only half of the rental due to the shipment of the part taking a little longI also informed him that the only way that a rental is paid for by Atzenhoffer was with my approval, for which he nor did my advisor have for this customerAt no time was the repair cost a issueHe was only charged for hours of labor time,which was hour of repair and hour of diagnosisPlus the partAfter MR.*** left the dealership several days later we find out he wanted all of the rental refunded, which we did provide.This was the first time MR.*** had ever been here with his vehicleHe is welcome in the futureI would advise MR.*** that in the future any/all rental agreements made with Enterprise Rental COmust be made with them and completed to their satisfaction.Thank You,*** ** ***
