Response taken over the phone: We worked on her porch for days The consumer wanted more done that we had agreed upon We agreed to replace the rotten wood on the porch and she wanted the whole thing replaced When we arrived Monday morning to resume work she stopped the job and told my guys not to do the work The materials and some of our tools were gone as well I had spent over $in materials, not to mention labor costs for days with men doing the work I have spoken to her lawyer and have not heard anything more

The message you got from Tom L*** is definitely not true, Our Lawyer sent him a letter and he did not respond at all. Seems he got the first letter okay why is he saying he didn't get the second letter.Another thing he said was not true as to doing his job here at the house.No one kicked him off the job, he told his men to pack up and they left,with the understanding he would be back on Wedwith the price of the beams for the front porch,Well he never showed as we expected with the money he was suppose to buy materials with that never showed up at our house.He has walked off with the second check of $5000. Accord to our Ins.Co. he was suppose to do more then one thing for the money he was getting paid to dothe roof, the beams on the front porchand inside was taking out the sheet rock that was damaged and replace sheet rock,painting and etcI gave Tom a copy of the material list he was suppose to go by and he never got anything pertaining to what he was suppose to on the list, he did in fact get shingles and plywood and that was it, we never got anyreceipts as our Inswanted all of the receipts and he wouldn't give them up.He was suppose to get them to us ,so we could send them to our InsCo. as he agreed that we would get them so we could send then to Kemper InsOur Insand they are quite upset with this mess as we are.The only thing he did was mess up the roof and that had to be totally taken off and replaced by another company*** *** from So.Glens,his name is Fred B*** ** *** *** ,***[ *** ]This man had the same work done in 1/days-[ not days as he said it took his men [Tom L***'s] to do. Also his men put in 1/hrsa day not even an hrday. So getting back to Tom L***, he is trying to pull a fast one and we are going to go to court to try and get some of the money back to pay for a job that we shouldn'thave to pay for.This is causing a lot of stress and that we don't need at our age,my husband is pushing and an handicap senior. This is a man who is praying on seniors and getting their moneys as fast as he can and walk off the job as the elderly [don't have the money to fight him in court and he knows it,so he is scott free with the moneys he don't deserve and didn't work for.*** * *** ***
