I needed someone to install a wired doorbellI had all of the parts and wireAll I needed was installationA friend suggested *** *** I called and set up the appointmentHe didn't give me an estimatesaid there were too many variablesA technician came to the house and installed the doorbellIt went from the doorbell position on the outside directly to the tone box through the wall on the inside It required about two feet of wire to connect the two*** billed me *** which I paidIn hindsight, I now know that while I was asking *** to install my doorbell, he, instead, contacted another company and that company sent their technician outI ended up paying three levels of peopleWhen I made that point to *** he said, "Oh no, only two." There is much I could say, but this forum is probably not the place I paid the bill*** will have to live with his own conscience
To your comment on my original review, Mr***, I say Au Contraire I was never told that you were simply going to call another company and charge me for that "service." Most business persons would have simply said, "I don't have time right now, but you might try XXXXXXX" I am a mature, responsible, professional person who holds a doctor's degree I am perfectly capable of contacting other service providers myself You took advantage of me It was a good lesson that will sharpen my watchfulness
