A phone message was left on our office phone on August I called the *** *** as soon as I checked the message when I returned to the office No answer but I left a message on his voice mail Later I receive an office phone message from *** *** Her message was
that no one called her back so she contacted the Revdex.com and write a complaint on our facebook page I immediately called when receiving the message but no answer Again left a message *** *** called later that day and was quite adamant that Marks Building Company should refund her for an air conditioning condensation unit installed in She stated Doug came out every year when they called and took care of their current problem. *** *** said they had another company out to look at the unit and said it was faultyShe was quite rude and not willing to discuss further when I asked for a written copy of the other company's report If indeed there was something our company did that caused a malfunction, we would take care of it immediately She abruptly hung up when I pressed for a written report stating another professionals opinion I asked our installer , Doug, to bring up the service reports on this project Doug stated that he indeed returned a year after the new install at *** ***'s requestto fix a line set that *** *** damaged with a weed eater tool Doug promptly took care of the damaged line set and did not charge the client Dougs report also showed he was called a few years later to look at a leak in the copper line Doug tested the unit and work we installed and found not leak He did, however, state to *** *** that it is possible the copper line from the inside unit to the condensation unit may have a small leakHe proceeded to install a sealant that seals small pinhole leaks This obviously took care of that problem When Doug mentioned that it is possible the original copper line set under the original slab concrete of the *** concrete floor may need replacing, *** *** did not have an interest in having this work properly repaired This original copper line under the concrete slab is beyond our scope of work *** *** called Doug again this past June and Doug applied more sealant and charged the ***'s for this service call, mainly because it was for service beyond our scope of work The ***'s were aware that our company stands behind our work for a warranty of a year but Doug went above and beyond to satisfy a clientDoug was called again in late August but asked me for guidance from this point on. AS it is clearly stated, Marks Building Company installed the air conditioning unit in accordance with manufacturers direction, honored the labor warranty, provided service calls for damage to the unit caused by the ***'s, tested the installation unit and our scope of work, finding no leaks, professionally recommended the copper line needing tested and possibly replaced with the ***'s refusing to follow this recommendation, and at all times trying to be as professional as possible concerning the circumstances It must be noted that in the span of the first phone call left on our office phone to the four hours later when I actually received the message and promptly responded, *** *** took it upon herself to write a very negative review on our facebook page, resulting in a lower satisfaction score The information stated on the facebook page is incorrect and I have notified the ***'s to correct the facts
