I have looked at Ms***' account. Since she had never paid a late fee I will adjust this off of her billI normally do this for the first late fee if asked to do so. As far as overcharging. We had the coldest days in a row in over years. TVA hit two all time
peaks during this time. The local TV station (WTVA) and local paper (Daily Journal) reported this and made the news almost daily during this cold spell. Several new stories over this period, saying bills are going to be high regardless of if you use gas or electric for heat. Most people at least double during this time

I am rejecting this response because: Attached is a photo of my current electric bill  beside the bill from November. The figures you were given by Tombigbee Electric were correct. While January had about two weeks of extremely cold weather, and that would have caused one month to be higher than normal, that doesn't explain three months of excessive power usage. February had unusually high temperatures ranging from the 50's to the 70's most of the month (not unlike what was seen in October thru December). Nothing has been added to or changed as far as items that require electricity. And little or no heating or cooling was used during February. So the bill due in March for February's usage should be no where close to what is being charged. And as for January's bill for December's usage, it was also much higher than it should have been as December was also mild. The common argument of Christmas lights running it up is also false as I had exactly one string of lights that were only on at night, and only for one week.
