Business response received 9/12/via fax and entered by Revdex.com staff (**) On Sept 4th Ms [redacted] called our business with a tree emergency(Lge limb on garage) I returned her call after being notified by our answering service I asked what insurance company, she told meI explained what the insurance company would pay and that we then billed insuranceNothing was said about an estimateWe do not estimate emergenciesI told her I would see how quickly I could get the crew to her and would call her backI called her back and let her know the crew would be there within the hour to take the limb off & clean up When the crew arrived, she decided to get an estimateI pulled the crew off the job for an emergencyNot to drive four trucks a half hour to give an estimate My understanding, from the crew, is that Ms [redacted] was having an altercation with [redacted] about having the job done Ms [redacted] called the answering service demanding the crew leaveI called the crew & told them to walk away without giving an estimate Then Ms [redacted] decided to vent on our answering service demanding a call from the business owner and rantingAt one point, she stated, and this is documented, that she would call the answering service every minutesAt that point, I decided that I was not calling herI told the answering service to hang up on her, but to document the calls, because if she was going to harass, I would call the police And, as far as I am concerned, this is the end of this matter [redacted] 9-12-
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Nearly every statement made in their rebuttal is false.The call was for an ESTAMINTE and it was stated as such, repeatedly.The company seemed to us as wanting to engage in insurance fraud when they refused over and over and over and over again to not only NOT give an estimate, but also refused to state how much they would charge the insurance company.These people lack any semblance of professionalism, honesty and are void of any standard of good practices Harassment, slander and fraudulent intent , deceptive practices and terrorizing, intimidating and threatening potential customers seem the normI expect no satisfaction via the Revdex.com on this issue, but there are other agencies which look into these matters and protect consumers from retaliatory occurrences, predatory business practices and aggressive harassmentI wish no further involvement from the Revdex.com and no further contact with a company which bills secret prices to insurance companies Regards, [redacted] ***
