To Whom it May Concern:Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this first complaint I have ever recieved from the Revdex.com As you can see on your website, I have an A+ rating with the Revdex.comI also maintain a five star rating on the three major contractor find sites
that I am registered with. With regard to the complaint, I performed an inspection of all work with the complainant prior to the work bing performed I also kept the complainant fully appraised of the progress of the work At the start of the project, the complainant identified existing paint that was to be used for the patchwork One color in the kitchen was not available for which I had custom mixed.Contact was made with the complainant at the end of the project for the last payment and also identifying that the paint provided at the beginning of the project was the wrong color. All work was completed to the point that the correct paint needed to be applied and then final touch up and remudding and sanding blemishes as necessary This is standard practice with all drywall repair jobs I have never not finished a repair job nor had any previous customer complain that work was not completed as requiredOn this project, no damage to the house was caused and the project work does not need to be re-done as claimedIt should also be noted that the paint that I had custom mixed was a near exact match and the customer had no complaints regarding this.I offered to complete these drywall repair spots as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction At no time did I use any phrases such as 'the work is good enough" This is contrary to my satisfaction guarantee and my overall commitment to quaility. At the last visit the complainant was accompanied by a 2nd party who did all of the speaking The second party advised the complaintant not to speak. The 2nd party refused to provide full payment and did threaten to sue me because the work was not satisfactoryThe 2nd party ask me to leave the premises prior to any agreement I also offered to continue work at that same visit until the customer was satisfied but that offerer was refused. In the complain it is stated that the police were called because I remained parked outside I did remain parked on a public street, not the property in question, in order to fill out logs and plan the next visit as any contractor routinely does between appointments. In order to bring this to a close, I offer to provide up to four hours of additional work at no charge to address the customers concerns I am willing to accept $***cash or credit card versus the $***that is owed Sincerely,Thomas AS***President - Tommy On The Job, LLC

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Mr. S[redacted] admits “Contact was made with the complainant at the end of the project for the last payment” and “All work was completed to the point that the correct paint needed to be applied”. The images I have enclosed clearly show the work was not completed to that point.  The attached images show the unprofessional and incomplete work that was done at the house.  You will see that more is needed than just final paint and touch ups.  Please remember as you look at the images, Mr. S[redacted] was there to collect all his money. Mr. S[redacted] keeps harping on about the wrong paint yet in his contract he states, “If matching paint is not available, contractor will attempt to acquire a best match paint.” This was not done.  Once Mr. S[redacted] realized he did not have the matching paint, he did not seek a best match paint as contracted.  I would just like to clarify, I witnessed the conversation between the two and the homeowner never threatened to sue Mr. S[redacted].    When Mr. S[redacted] came for the inspection he was introduced to the homeowner and was notified that the homeowner’s approval would be needed for final payment. The homeowner pointed out many things that day as shown in the attachment.  Mr. S[redacted] did say that he would fix things to the homeowner’s satisfaction, but then when the homeowner would point things out Mr. S[redacted] would say why it didn’t need to be fixed.  For example, the reply for the dryer vent was “good enough for a home inspection”, and “better than it was” for the kitchen area.  So Mr. S[redacted] was not open to improving the work to the homeowner’s standards. Since none of the work was done to the owner’s satisfaction, the homeowner tried to make a settlement with Mr. S[redacted].  This is when Mr. S[redacted] started acting difficult.  After every offer the homeowner made, Mr. S[redacted] would just say that he would bill the homeowner for the rest.  Then he started barking insults at the homeowner like “I don’t trust you” and “you are the most unreasonable person I have ever worked with”. And that is why the homeowner asked Mr. S[redacted] to leave. There was one point in the conversation that Mr. S[redacted] refused to talk to the homeowner and kept trying to ask me questions. The home owner is now paying almost $[redacted] to repair, finish the work, and clean up the mess left by Mr. S[redacted].  A formal letter to sever the business between us has been sent to Mr. S[redacted], so additional work was never an option for settlement.
Regards,
[redacted]
