lawnmower which only had a model number of 1716, but no manufacturer number or serial number on it to help us identify what parts go on it.  We found the lawnmower wiring harness had been cut, spliced and reworked so it would bypass all safety switches.  We told Mr. [redacted] at that time we can try to get a new wiring harness or rework his old wiring harness.  It would cost $250.00 for the new wiring harness plus other parts and labor or we rework his old wiring harness and it would cost whatever time we would have in it.  We never bid this job out to him because we did not know what other problems we would find on his lawnmower.  We both agreed to try to the new wiring harness on it so we put it on and the wiring harness did not work properly.  So we told Mr. [redacted] that we would have to reuse his old wiring harness.  He contacted us several times on the status of his lawnmower and we explained the situation to him and he said, I just want me lawnmower to work.  Again we never bid this job out so we did what the customer asked and got his lawnmower to work properly.  We did not charge him for the new wiring harness or actual time we had in it.   Thank you, [redacted]Tompkins Investment Company
