I am rejecting this response because: The owner is the one making statements and not the mechanic who performed the work on the AudiMy son had nothing to do with this and why bring his name up now when he wanted to see how long it was going to take to do the jobTo change the Thermostat and get a smog should not had taken more than days is what the mechanic told meI told him no rush and give him an extra dayYou could not put the car back the way it was when I had it towed in and when you tore down the Audi, your mechanic broke the bolts to the crank shaftIt is mutual with me now or in the future I will not come to your place of business to seek your business

Dear Ms***, We have done maintenance work for the North Fork Rancheria Indian TribeAs such, the Rancheria asked us for an estimate to install a thermostat into Ms***'s vehicle, as we assume she is a member of that organizationNow, this is not your everyday vehicle and most
of the front end of the car as well as the top of the engine needs to be dismantled to do this operationNot having seen the car, we quoted $, which is Mitchell's flat rate fee for a car in serviced condition The vehicle arrived and it was, to say the least, in extremely dilapidated conditionParts were missing, bolts were missing, bolts and nuts were broken off and rusted solidAfter spending hours fighting with this car, we advised the Rancheria that it would take considerable extra hours because of the vehicles conditionWe also advised that the vehicle would not be safe or legal to drive away, as the tires had metal belts worn throughThe Rancheria asked for a revised quote and our opinionWe provided a revised estimate and advised the Rancheria that in our opinion it would not make financial sense to put the money into this car, as even with the replacement thermostat, there were so many things wrong with this car that it would not be prudentThe car, as it stood, was not worth more than a few hundred dollars and needed extensive repairs The Rancheria decided that they would not spend any more money on Ms***'s behalfThis seemed to have upset Ms*** and she called to say that she wanted to pick up her carWe advised her that it would take a day or so to put her car back together to the condition that it was when brought inShe advised that she did not want to wait and would have it picked up within an hourWe told her that we could not put it back together in that time frame and she told us to put the parts somewhere into the vehicle Please understand, that our cus***er was the Rancheria and not Ms*** as the Rancheria is the one authorizing and paying for the workAlso, the $initial estimate was based on the hours flat rate for a vehicle in conditionAt the time we were corresponding with the Rancheria, we had already spent hours n this carWe did not charge the extra hours You are more than welcome to confirm all this information with the North Fork RancheriaPlease be kind enough to confirm receipt of this letterThank you Yours Sincerely, *** *** -- *** ***s RE Store

Dear Ms. [redacted],   In reply to your letter and Ms. [redacted]'s rebuttal of my first response, I can only tell you that Ms. [redacted] is not being totally forthcoming. Not only was she advised of the problems but her son actually came down to see the problems and spoke with our mechanic about it. So to say that she had no knowledge is not correct. Nor did we ask for additional funds to put the parts back on the car, but needed additional time to do so.  The additional quote was to do the actual work as it required many more hours, because of the condition of the vehicle.  I am not willing to do anything further on this vehicle, now or at any time in the future.   Sincerely,   [redacted]
