We addressed the customers concerns on October and replaced all tires. We also already had the truck scheduled to repair the windshield. The customer left on Thursday happy with the repairs and the service provided. We believe that this issue has been resolved and the case can

I am rejecting this response because:I never said I had the front end worked onI stated the truck was pulling to the left when it made the noiseon the test drive I told the tech that we had to go faster than the speed limit of the road we were on in order to hear the noise35mph was not fast enoughinstead of the road in front of the dealership we needed to drive the freeway, his response was as he was driving the truck was he could hear the noise in the rear eandI told him the noise has not happened nor the clunk that made the truck jerk to the leftI was never shown the noise, nor did I hear it as he did the road test or in the shop.I APPROVED THE REPAIR IF IT WAS WHAT WAS MAKING THE NOISE I DESCRIBED AND CAUSED IT TO PULL TO THE LEFTHE SAID IT IS.I WAS GIVEN THE FREE LOANER BECAUSE THE SIGN ON THE DESK SAID ANY RECALL WORK DONE ON ANY VEHICLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE LOANER, THE AIR BAG THEY REPLACED WAS A RECALL ITEM THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX.I DID NOT HEAR THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM ON THE LAST TEST DRIVE BECAUSE WE WENT DOWN THE SAME BACK ROAD WITH THE SPEED LIMIT OF 35MPHTHE TECH NEVER GOT THE SPEED UP TO 60MPH AT ANY TIMEI TOLD HIM IF HE THINKS HE FIXED THE PROBLEM AND IT ISN'T I WILL BE BACK IN TOUCHI AM NOW BACK IN TOUCH.I MADE CALLS TO THE DEALERSHIP AFTER WE GOT ON THE FREEWAY AND THE WOMAN AT THE DEALERSHIP CALLED ME BACK TWICEIf anyone from Shively motors would have taken minutes of time to remove the front differential drain plug and looked at the oil in the front differential they would have seen the oil was full of metal and it would have shown there was a problemIt is obvious to me that was too hard or they didnt know the front from the rear of the truckRegards,

On 10-17-16 [redacted] came to our dealership because his truck was making a noise.  [redacted] test drove with Nevin D[redacted] our shop foreman to verify the noise.  [redacted] thought the noise was from the transfer case.  He said he had the whole front end worked on before leaving...

Washington state.  When they test drove the truck, [redacted] and Nevin found the noise to be from the rear end.  Nevin put the truck on a lift and showed [redacted] the noise.  We prepared and estimate of $1400 plus tax and [redacted] approved the repairs.  We gave [redacted] a free loaner car so he was not without transportation.  We also helped him find a hotel for the night.  On 10-18-16 we repaired [redacted]'s vehicle and got it finished just before closing that day.  Nevin was taking it on a test drive so [redacted] went with him and they both agreed that the noise was gone and he was happy.  They brought his truck back to the dealership and [redacted] paid his bill and left.  On 10-20-16 [redacted] called the dealership and wanted to talk to Tim, our service manager.  Tim answered the call and [redacted] explained that something in the front end locked up and almost caused him to wreck.  He said he was sorry to hear that and offered to get it towed back to the dealership and look at the problem.  He also stated that we did nothing to the front differential area and the repairs where only made in the rear.  [redacted] said no to the towing offer and that he already had it towed and was waiting for a flight home.  He said you will never see my vehicle again and hung up on Tim.  Tim tried to call him back but he would not answer.  The problem with his vehicle originally was the rear, so we overhauled the rear differential while it was here.  This repair would have nothing to do with the front wheel area in question.  [redacted] also said while he was here that he had the whole front end repaired while in Washington state.  If he has a problem with the front end he should be making his complaint with the garage that performed the front end work.  His truck is a 2003 model with over 229,000 miles.  Shively Motors believes that we performed our work correctly and [redacted] received the full benefit of the repairs we made.  We can not be held responsible for additional issues that could occur on his vehicle.

[redacted] is correct when he says there is a recall on the alternator in his vehicle. However, at this point and time [redacted] corp. has not released any parts to correct the concern with the alternator. Therefore, all we at Shively Motors can do is replace the alternator with a new one...

and when the recall is available it would have to be replaced again with the new recall part. With that being said the only we can get paid for the parts and labor that we use at this time is to have the customer pay us and submit a receipt to [redacted] corp. for reimbursement. Which [redacted] corp. would reimburse the customer but because the warranty has ended we cannot get reimbursed. We at Shively Motors do all we can do to please any and all customers to the best of our ability. But we do have procedures that have to followed. And from what I understand [redacted] has spoken with [redacted] corp. and they have agreed to pay for everything that has to done with the alternator and any damage caused by the alternator failure.

Review: The service man replaced a part in our heater to get it to work however with this part could not regulate the flame and have called ever since he put the part in to see if it could be troubleshooted. He never got back to us and the flame gets so high that it could potentially burn down the house and has already ruined the glass front. I have been calling him and he will not call back even to find out what we can do to fix this problem. We need some closure on this, was w very expensive service call.Desired Settlement: I would like for him to set up a date to replace the part with the correct part for free or give us back the money for the part so we can buy the right part.
