In response to Mr ***'s complaintWhen my tech arrived he found the transformer and board had been changed by someone elseMy tech found the transformer to be wired incorrectly and repaired the two wires and put a wire nut on the neutral wire The unit started up immediately
and then Mr *** told my tech that everything else was fine and no need for him to check anything else out as our half hour is up My tech was basically told that time was up at exactly minutes and could not look for any other problems I do not agree that I should have to refund Mr *** any money as my tech fixed the problem created by someone else (according to Mr***, he had changed the transformer himself.) Mr *** claims that a loose wire had blew the transformer and when my tech left there were no loose wires on the unit.We informed Mr *** that he needed an electrician as my tech feels that something else is causing the transformer to keep blowing

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Firstly, I never told the tech his time was up, I was hoping he could fix the issue within the first half hour due to the cost but never told him he had to go, that's just absurd.  He did fix the issue when he was there, but I never and would never tell a tech to not look for any other issues that could cause the problem.  I did have my dad who is a HVAC tech take a look at the unit earlier that week and we bought 2 brand new transformers and a new circuit board. Unfortunately, my dad was unable tou fix the problem so we called the company.  However, the tech rewired the transformer according to his knowledge but did not do anything else in regards to the transformer.I've included 2 screenshots of the transformer that was on the unit and its clear that the 2 red/orange wires did not have a wire nut on them and blew the transformer. One of the pictures show a closeup of the wires burnt.I've also included the receipts from both companies.

In response to Mr [redacted] telling my technician his time is up: When my tech finished in the attic, he asked Mr [redacted] if he would like him to check out the outside unit and the rest of the system and he stated "No, it works fine". The transformer was not installed by us and it was installed incorrectly. When tech looked at the control board, he noted the black and white wires reversed, so he switched the black and white wires and the unit started up. He never noticed the red wires, nor did he touch the red wires, someone else tied them up like that. I will refund the credit card the $107.00 because this situation is a "he said she said" and is just a waste of precious time. Thank you
