know that we were on the way She said that she would be unavailable and that she was under the impression that it was another day I did mention during our initial visit that we reserve the weekends for emergencies I understood that we would be doing it friday but she thought Monday It was not an emergency and we could have done it any other day except monday because monday was already booked We hung up having agreed to do it another day Soon after I received a text and voice mail that she wanted to cancel the work I spoke to her and asked why, she said because she needed to be better educated on this purchase I offered to go back and go over everything wether we did the work now or not but she refused (as she stated in her complaint) I also explained that if she got any information from another company that she needed me to clarify that I was willing to help She said that she was not going to do anything right now and that if she decided later to do anything that she would possibly call us back We did speak about a restocking fee but she knows that I didnt give her a total because I had no idea how the restocking fee worked We have NEVER had a cancellation after the quipment is on the truckI absolutely did not threaten or pressure her with a restocking fee As a matter of fact I was so uncomfortable charging the fee that I told her that any fee that I had to pay and that I had to charge her for would be shown as a credit for any future purchases with our companyShe knows this to be trueI was trying to be fair because I hated charging for something and she not receive anything Furthermore, if I had to charge her (which I didn't) and she communicated that she felt unfairly treated I would have taken the loss Here is what happened I called my supplier to understand the restocking situation They told me that my guys had already returned the equipment and I was not charged due to the fact that it was the first time we've ever returned equipment and because we are a good customerIts that simple Ms *** never spoke to me at all and threatened to make a Revdex.com complaint If she spoke to someone at my office I was unaware until the Revdex.com contacted me. I would like to apologize to Ms *** for any bad impression left in her mind. I would like to note that I take great offense and exception to the accusation of predudicial treatment toward single women I was raised by a single woman My mother was my sole provider, she worked three jobs to support me and my sister and I learned everything ethical from her She is my hero, and my inspiration as well as my example I look up to her and support her now and I would never dishonor her by treating women badlyI also have four daughters, a single mother sister and they all have been taught by me to be strong and informed individuals with an emphasis on being assertive and educated I want to say that every single women (and everyone else for that matter) should absolutely call Toned Homes if they want to be treated with respect, treated fairly, and to be educated on any home repair product or service We offer ourselves as a resource whether they use us or not Thanks *** *** President Toned Homes PS.
