Review: I picked up a birthday cake from Tonnies minis on 1/**/13 at 10:30 AM. The cake was lopsided and broke into 2 pieces (the part that was sloping down broke off from the rest of the cake)by the time I got the cake home from picking it up and it would not go back together. I emailed Tonnies Minis on 1/**/13 and spoke to [redacted] who said she would mail me a gift card to Tonnies Minis in the amount I paid ($28). It took over many months to get the gift card in the mail. I emailed and called Tonnies numerous times to let them know I had not received it and they gave me the run around (not picking the phone up, saying that they forgot to mail the card with a stamp, saying they mailed it to the wrong address etc). Finally after many months I received the gift card and when I tried to go redeem the gift card at the end of last month the gift card shows it has $0 (when I call up the number on the back of the card). Additionally- the store I have the gift card to actually has been closed for over a month and says it will reopen in January (which it hasnt). When I called the store to place an order on December ** I was told to call back a few days later. Every time I called back no one ever picked up. Then, the website showed that all Manhattan Tonnies minis are under renovation. I then called the Bronx Tonnis Minis store and spoke to [redacted] who gave me the run around for over a month before agreeing to mail me a check for $28 to my home address. When I called back numerous times to tell [redacted] I never received the check no one picks up the phone or they tell me to call back when [redacted] is in (which is not often). When I finally spoke to [redacted] she claims they mailed it and it must have gotten lost and she would mail another one. Of course- I never received a check and spoke to a [redacted] who claims if the check did not arrive I have to come up to the Bronx store and pick up the $28 check. I do not have access to the Bronx store- all I would like is Tonnies to refund me the proper amount - and actually send the check out as I feel they are not being honest and mailing the check to me (I never lose mail and they have a back track record).Desired Settlement: send a $28 check to me at my home address

Review: I placed an order for my sons firat birthday cake back in the first week of June 2014. The total cost is $240 and I paid thr $100 deposit on Monday June [redacted] 2014. I am suppossed to pick up the cake today, Saturdays July [redacted] 2014. However, I came to two different locations and they are both closed. I called the lady who took my deposit several times and rexived no answer. Her number is ###-###-####. Thw number losted for this business are not working. Since they have not deilvered my cake nor goven me a refund they have technically stolen the $100.00.Desired Settlement: I want my money back!
