Tony and Denita Contracting

On monday, July 24, my wife and son were in our front yard doing some yard work when a black mercedes with T&D contracting on the side, he passed our house and then came back, pulled in our driveway, got out of his car and started talking to my wife suggesting that he could get us approved for new siding and roofing, no business card was presented, we'd never heard of this co. before.
My wife *** came to the house to get me as she felt uncomfortable with the man and wanted me out there. He caught us completely by surprise, was not invited and he proceeded to give us his non stop sales pitch. The health issue comes in because I have chronic anxiety and severe depression and I was thrown into a tailspin and in a lot of duress with him here, not thinking straight, we let him talk, instead of chasing him off we listened, he had us at a disadvantage, we were somewhat vulnerable, long story short, we made the HUGE mistake of signing what I thought was an authorization for him to talk with our insurance co. state farm, in reality it was a contract for him to do the whole job, roofing and siding, he is not licensed for roofing so a separate co. does that. We want out of that contract, a week ago he told me he'd retained an attorney specifically for our situation, and that he had a contract drawn up 2 days prior to meeting with us against our will. It appears he had us targeted 2 days prior. the ins adjuster came and said he didn't think we were under any obligation to him so we didn't worry too much, we talked with 2 other contractors since and picked one we liked and felt comfortable with. I texted Tony and informed him we were going with another contractor and that's when he somewhat threatened us with legal action because of a 3 day cancellation clause in his contract that I wasn't aware of. Tony told me he'd text me the attorneys info but never did, leading me to believe he's trying to call our bluff, other contractors tell me to rip up the contract and tell him to get lost, we've given him nothing
