After being involved in an accident, I purchased a new vehicle and called State Farm agent Tony D *** add the vehicle & remove the vehicle involved in the accident. I worked up a new policy which included collision and comprehensive. I was satisfied with the rate and didn’t contact the branch until over a year later when I got a statement that indicated that my rate was going up because of the incident (lost good driver discount). I spoke with Denise & asked if I could bring my rate down by adding good student discount. While going over my policy she mentioned that I wasn’t covered for collision on my policy, I was shocked!! She looked in the notes & saw that she had carelessly “forgotten” to add collision. For over a year I had been driving my new car without collision!! I was fooled into thinking they were actually providing me with the services I was promised. She claimed that because it was in the notes, they would have covered me in an accident (more lies). Now not only had my rate gone up, it was going to be even more increased because they had to add collision. I wanted to cancel at that time. How can I trust a company to protect me & my vehicle when they make careless mistakes at the cost of their clients? Denise went back and forth with me & told me the payments with collision would be $165 a month. But I kept getting billed for $190 and when I questioned it, she would rush me off the phone and say she’d fix it, and never did. Eventually I switched companies and Tony himself called and said to expect a $70 refund because I canceled in the middle of the month. Til this day I have yet to see my full refund. They refuse to give me the full amount and only gave me $28. I called customer service to try and figure out what was going on, the rep (Cassandra) said they canceled the policy on the 14th, not the 7th. So I was refunded for 5 days instead of 12. The branch denies this, even though Cassandra spoke to Denise & explained it to her. Tony & Denise refuse to fix the issue & refund
