Review: I had a new blactop driveway put in last august 2012 with a 1 year guarantee. The driveway has 2 holes the size of a quarter, it puddles in one area (2 ft. by 4 ft.) and there are numerous seam marks in multiple areas. I called last fall and someone looked and said to wait until the spring. I did and someone came to look in June and said there was little that could be done to fix the puddle. I had to call the at least 9 times and sent a registered letter __return receipt--and got nothing back. This driveway nbeeds to be redone and there is no way I can get them to come back. I paid $3,960 and have a "new" blacktop driveway that is horrible. The home across the street used a different company and their driveway looks great. I really could use your help. They can either replace/redo the driveway or refund my money. I just want a decent job done. [redacted] is the [redacted] and has never returned any of my phone calls. The Suffolk License # is [redacted]Desired Settlement: Re-do the driveway--it is beyond repair. Repairing is fine but they said that they can not repair the puddling I get. Refund if they will not replace.

Review: we hired tony and sons to brick a walkway , excavate and install an asphalt driveway. They excavated and bricked the walkway. the brick used was damaged, half of the walkway had chipped bricks. they also underestamated the amount and where short some brick...they made a call, had some brick brought over. when all was said and done...the brick brought over was a different color. After many calls...they did replace the damaged and discolored(rusty) brick. Now they replaced the damaged brick with a total different shade brick...and ONE TOTAL DIFFERENT COLOR. The brick I ordered was a Golden Brown....Now I have 3 total different color bricks in random places. NOT uniform looking at all! I can send pictures! Tried to contact the office...left at least 20 messages. Also awaiting to be paved!!! I have been living with no driveway since april **,2013~~ I paid some of the money!!!!!!!!! Finally got in touch...the owner [redacted] came...was sarcastic, condescending ,arrogant and said he was not fixing anything...I should call the manufacturer and that he was not paving our driveway and stormed off the job!! I have pictures of the different color bricks....and the walkway!! he did not honor his contract and just left!!!

We have gotten estimates to have our driveway paved at this stage and it is 900.00 more than what was left to pay tony and sons which leads us to believe that the way they billed us in steps....we paid for some of it up front!! we are fair people and 900.00 is alot of money! and our walkway that has to be done over eventually was 1300. I dont know what to do!! Help!!! Please dont let him do this to other people!!!Desired Settlement: WE want our money back for the Driveway that was not finished!! We paid $1420 up front and at completion he was to be paid $1350.....We are now paying another company 2250.00 to complete, I want the difference that was paid already, which would be 900.00

As for my discolored bricks.....Half of the money would be fair since we have to hire someone to fix it!!!

In response to complaint number [redacted], we have gone back to customers' house to inspect the issue; there were some scratches and nicks that are common in all pavers. But company had agreed to replace the ones that she had marked. The bricks were from the same manufacturer and make. But due the dye lot of the pavers, the shade of the color was slightly lighter. The customer was there at the time of the repair and she accepted the repair understanding that there could be a slight color differential. The office then called to set up an appointment for the paving of her driveway, which she agreed upon. The crew arrived at her home with asphalt in trucks to complete the job, the customer was very upset and acting irate towards our workers, stated that she would not pay for the completion of the job because the color was slightly off of the pavers. She did not contact the office before hand to express her concern; she proceeded to tell the crew to leave her property. Her husband spoke with [redacted] personally, with her present, and told him he was not to complete the job that they owed him nothing and he owed them nothing. The company was at loss for the asphalt

that was already in the trucks to complete the job as well as the time lost to go to her house, not once but one two occasions. In response to the disputed money, we will contact our attorney for the time lost and the cost of asphalt. At this time we feel there is nothing we could have done to satisfy this customer.

Review: They installed new asphalt driveway and Belgium block border and new stone steps,

They didn't install the right blocks for the steps, did not use steamroller to smooth driveway as a result my driveway is no good and my steps are crumbling,

They don't want to repair anything, threatened about money owed.Desired Settlement: I want a new driveway and new steps. I paid over $6,000. Would like new company to do so
