I hired Tony's aluminum based on the timeframe and price they gave me on replacing windowsI was told it should take no longer thandays for the permit and just a couple of days after that to installWe signed the contract on 6/5, I heard nothing from them and on 7/asked what was going on and if I needed to get in touch with the cityLo and Behold the permit was ready a couple of days laterI was lied to since they didn't even go in for the permit until 6/By the time they came to install I had a very busy schedule at work and they expected me to stop everything so I can accommodate them to install the windows and of course get paid Finally it was installed on 7/The guys came and installed the windows and in the process broke marble window sillsThey left excess silicone all around the windows, on the wall and even on a piece of furnitureThey used their dirty hands to smooth the silicone and left the black spots in the siliconeTheir were holes in the silicone and just an overall poor jobMy husband and I spent hours cleaning and re-caulking before the inspector came outNo one bothered calling after the inspection to make sure all went well, no one bothered coming to meet with the inspector, but guess what, they wanted the inspection done quickly so as they put it, they can get paidI also asked for frosted glass for my bathroom windows, which they currently had so I just wanted the same thingWhat I got was white frosted windows(I didn't even know white was frosted) I didn't ask for white, not only that I said the same thing I have nowThe answer to that was the company doesn't make any other frost so I guess there would be no need to tell me that so I can decide not to get them frostedIn their minds frosting in whiteSo it looks like I have a piece of paper over my windowsNot very happyThere is so much to this story but to long to write outThe windows are very nice, but working with this company was an experience I do not want to ever have again
