Owner indicates that vehicle was initially sold to a local customer who was making installment payments on the vehicle and almost had it paid off when he abruptly stopped
communicating with Tony's Auto Sales, and effectively "disappeared."
Owner says that this local customer reappeared months later, indicating that he'd "left" the vehicle in Nevada
Somewhere during that time period, Tony's Auto Sales received a number of tickets on the vehicle from areas geographically between Minnesota and Nevada
He says he also received calls from multiple individuals (including Mr ***?) insisting that the title on the vehicle be transferred, but the chain of ownership on the vehicle was unclear to Tony's Auto Sales, and he was reluctant to do so without some sort of purchase contract -- says his transaction was with the original buyer in Minnesota, not the caller(s) from Nevada
Not knowing what else to do about the tickets and money he was still owed on the original purchase of the vehicle, the owner says he eventually reported the vehicle to the state as having been junked, and no longer holds a title on it to provide to Mr ***
