Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] Additional information [redacted] replacment was discussed by Business with my Step father by phone Business indicated that they were recomeding replacment of [redacted] so work was approved Rapair of cars should not be by trial and error When a service recomends that the [redacted] is likely the cause I trust their recomendation We have receipts from Dealer who eventually repaired the vechicle stating that [redacted] is not at fault and we have the [redacted] that was incorreclty replaced by Tony's Servide At a minimum the need to refund all costs associated with the [redacted] replacement

This is in response to your February 25, letterAs represent Tony's Auto Service, please direct all future communications regarding this matter to my attention.By the customer's own admission, the car was not running properly before it was brought in for repairsObviously, Tony's is not responsible for the condition of the vehicle before it encountered the vehicle for the first time.The customer admits he was advised that the vehicle needed additional workHe voluntarily declined to let Tony's service the vehicle further, and decided to continue to operate the vehicle when it was not running properlyThe customer admits he was uncooperative, refused Tony's advice, and then became argumentative.Other than his opinion and belief, the customer has no evidence that Tony's is responsible for a fire in the vehicle that was not running properly when it was first encountered and was driven from Tony's property in disrepair at the customer's insistence.Tony's regrets these events, but is not responsible for the vehicle fire that may have been caused by the Customer himself when he chose to continue driving it when it was not running properly against Tony's advice,RespectfullyPaul *T***cc: Tony's Auto Service

Ok so I provided the dealer invoice on what the real problem was
The dealer was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quicly
Apparently Tony's service did not have the technical capability to fix my car
I now have the computer installed incorrectly by Tony's service in my possesion and dont need it as the dealer stated in his invoice I already provided
I am NOT satrisfied and demand that Tony's auto service get rated as an "F" by the BB beureu they are not reoutable and do not stand by their work and for sure have no interest in customer satisfactionRegards,*** ***

*** *** indicated this customer called and asked how much a fuel pump is b/c that is what *** *** diagnosed the problem to be He gave her a really good deal He didn't diagnose any problem They towed the vehicle in and he replaced the fuel pump A couple of days later
she called back saying they were having problems The car would start but when it was put in gear, the power would go away He went to her house and looked at the car He couldn't duplicate the problem He wasn't 100% sure but thought it was the computer shutting off the fuel pump He couldn't confirm the problem but the customer elected the repair She said she wanted that done He worked on the vehicle for about hours and couldn't duplicate the problem His work order has all the details of what happened

Spoke with Tony at the business He stated they recommended the customer leave the car with him so he could confirm the issues He had a designated stall for the vehicle and all hooked up to machines and wires trying to monitor the situation, however, it wasn't acting up The customer and her family didn't want to leave the car and was rushing to get it He again recommended leaving the car longer for them to duplicate the issue He was testing it every hour Tony said he suspected it was the computer but couldn't be sure because it wasn't acting up and the customer wanted her vehicle

*** replacment was discussed by Business with my Step father by phone. Business indicated that they were recomeding replacment of *** so work was approved. Rapair of cars should not be by trial and error. When a service recomends that the *** is likely the cause I trust their recomendation. We have receipts from Dealer who eventually repaired the vechicle stating that *** is not at fault and we have the *** that was incorreclty replaced by Tony's Servide. Tony's had the vehicle for many days (at least 3-4) and in the end stated to my stepdadover the phone that he was pretty sure it was the computer and thats what he was recommending we change the computer. It wasnt the
computer and when I took the car to another service shop later they told me that only the dealer could program a new computer
It wasnt the computer -- the one that was installed is now in my posseion and Tony should at a minimum refund the cost of the computer which I can return to him

I have attached two receipts
1. The original receipt for the replacement of the *** by Tony's. States that he belived it was the *** and installed as well as programmed the replacement unit (receipt is dated 11/26/14)
2. The Dealer (*** *** Auto) receipt that states the real problem was a bad ground on teh fuel pump. that the new *** had not even been programmed and that he re-installed my old *** (dated 1/24/15)
Note: Receipt from *** *** was for my step father (*** ***) who took my car in for me and was also the person who Tony spoke to and told he recomended the *** be replaced
Tony's Auto Service should at a mimimum refund my cost for teh *** work
