Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 10, 2016/02/05) */
The business and I have come to an agreed resolutionI no longer have any complaint or dispute

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/11) */
***,
I am sorry to hear about you having problems with the Grand Prix that you boughtWe put a ton of money and new parts on that Grand Prix (which we have receipts for)We fixed a lot of items on it and it passed Missouri
state inspectionI did not know about any radiator issue because it did not overheat on usThe previous owner who we repossessed the car from owned it for over a year and did not want to talk to us after we took his car because he would not pay his payments
I always allow any customer to take a car to their trusted mechanic for a pre-inspection to perform a more-in-depth analysis on the car
Since I am getting out of the "buy-here / pay here" business I am taking all of our very low end cars and repossessions (like this Grand Prix was), getting them to pass legal state inspection and LIQUIDATING THEM CHEAP
Usually I do not even sell cars under *** because they will have a ton of miles on them, be really old cars (Like this year old Grand Prix) and have more of a chance of breaking down on the people that buy them
I really-really dislike liquidating cars this cheap because I usually lose money on the sale of the car, but then when the car has some sort of problem within a month or two the customer gets angry and threatens to turn your into the Revdex.com, if you don't fix their cheap car (that I have already lost money on at time of sale)That is why I am advertising these very cheap cars as "LIQUIDATION PRICED / CARS"
Alliance Motors focuses on cars that are *** because they are a lot newer, have a lot less miles on them, have a lot less problems and I put free warranties on them
As for the tires you replaced on the car - those were the same tires that were on it when you guys test drove it and agreed to purchase itWe did not change the tires after you purchased it, so if you wanted different tires on it why didn't you say something at time of sale and we could have factored that into the car purchase price?
The used car business is a very - very hard business to be in, because I sell one of the MOST IMPERFECT PRODUCTS EVER - used cars
Cars are a necessary evil because we have to have them, but it seems like something is always breaking down on them (even the cars parked on my lot that are for sale every week, that are not being driven)No matter how well a car has been taken care of - it still has 1000's of moving parts and those parts wear outEspecially an year old with over 180,000+ miles on it, like your Grand Prix you purchased
A few years ago I purchased a personal car for myself that was a blue Audi Sthat I bought for *** in April Instead of buying a newer one with fewer miles on it I just bought the older one that was cheaper
Within months I had almost *** in it from all the parts I had to fix on it (now that's a money pit)It broke down on me times in just one month and I have a mechanic on staff, so I understand your frustrations
Again I apologize about your car breaking down, if you want us to take a look at it or work on it at our customer discount rate of *** per hour) let me knowWe always try to take care of people
My apologies,
*** ***

As for the state inspection *** marker sent me across the street to get it , I was there a total minI don't believe it was properly inspected ! I did not get to test drive it because cause the macanic was filling the AC with freon ,and was telling us the car ran great , so I do not trust his macanic !

***,
The Missouri state inspection had already taken place and the car had passed, but in Missouri the inspection slip only lasts daysWhen you are a car dealer and the car has not been sold in that day time frame, a car dealer can have the same shop just rewrite the inspection slip that will give you another days to license your carThe car dealer has to pay the *** fee again, but a full "from scratch" inspection does not have to be performed again
I explained to you when you purchased the car that it was sold and you signed different pages showing it was an car
I apologize that you are having problems with your car and like I said we can take a look at it and give you a customer discount on mechanic labor at *** per hour)
Thank you,
***
