The two driveway's run side by side between two houses. according to the neighbors, as the work to clear and move the brush was in process, brush was piled next to the car which was parked in one of the driveways. prior to this work the car did not have the gouges and scratches that it had after the work.

The issue here is that we believe that when the
brush was moved they scratched the car as they moved it past the car. The company says that they didn't. The girls at the residence saw the damage that day and went out right away to take the pictures. It is now a he said/she said situation. I was not there but I trust these girls and I know the car was not scratched prior to the day the brush was cleared. The company claims the landlord is responsible for notice. How would the landlord know what was involved with this type of work? The landlord hired the company to do all that is involved with the work. That is simply a response to avoid responsibility. Pictures of the car prior to the incident, I may have some when we purchased the car if that would help. It was in a video last year we could show. Those pictures were never asked forThe only response we've received is flat denial.

This is my reply to the January letter It is at this time that ***'s Landscaping and Excavating are maintaining that our company did not scratch the car. We performed the work involved and left the job never touching the car. I can not resolve your issue at this time since we are not responsible for the damage
