I am pleased with the full refundThank youHowever, the T&C that must be check-marked is repeated referenced by the companyThe simple fact that the ONLY place the promotion details can be located is in the Terms & Conditions is exceedingly shady
It is deplorable that this company feels that "hiding" the promotion details within a T&C agreement (knowing full well that most people have become so accustomed to skimming, clicking and moving on with their day because the contents so rarely actually affect them instead of being up front about itI am far from a naive shopper and made many attempts to locate the details regarding the promotionI also made many attempts to locate the product website, to no availThe reason I had SO much trouble locating this information is because this company uses 2-names for each product they sell (and each product is sold under a "sister company" with 2-different names to add even more consumer blinders)I also read through the terms and conditions before submitting my order and could not find any such informationI looked it over three times wondering where on earth the terms of the promotion were
Every legitimate company I have ever dealt with has been plain regarding what the customer is signing on to when accepting a "free trial" promotionThe details are CLEARLY stated on the order confirmation page and then again in the confirmation email, and then AGAIN in the packing documentation when the item(s) arriveIf not in triplicate, these other, legitimate companies are always careful to ensure that the terms of the promotion are clearly stated in at least ONE documentation sent to the customer which has the best likelihood of being see by said customerLastly, any legitimate company has ONE company nameAny "sister" companies are held under and umbrella company name thus, both companies would share the SAME umbrella company nameRestaurants and retail chains do thisHow it is even legal for any company to have 2-aliases and "sister" companies that do not share a parent company, BUT share the same call center (note: there are at least different phone numbers listed for both companies which all route to the same system), is utterly beyond me
I am very happy to have had a full refund on at least one of their products however, what I WANT is for this company to state CLEARLY, as any legitimate company should do and does do, WHAT the terms for the promotion are right out of the gateNone of this sneaking around, tucking that information in to a Terms & Conditions agreement, and not saying one word of what will happen any where else within the entirety of the transactionI want the information clearly written on the promotion page, on the "shopping cart", page, on the order confirmation page and in a document that is shipped with the item(s) the consumer has purchased
Lastly, I want the company information clearly stated in the packing documentationCompany NAMES (all of them), their website, their customer service line phone number, hours of operation and a customer service email addressI want the return mailing address CLEARLY marked so that the customer has NO doubt as to where to return their unused product after the day trial
That said, I intend to do everything within the law and within my power to initiate change through our legal system on this matterI am ALL for entrepreneurship and starting one's own business and equal opportunities for businessesI am AGAINST misleading, duping, confusing and lying to customers to generate incomeThey say there is no truth in advertising, we as consumers are fully aware, "Buyer beware." That warning should NEVER include having to be a private detective, Sherlock-bloody-Holmes, just to verify that what you're ordering is legitimate and the company you're ordering from is legitimate and that you're not going to wind up paying through the nose because of misdirection and carefully dodged legal parameters
These "companies," have managed to scoot under the laws in place to protect consumers; they have loop-holed and red-tape-dodged their way through the marketplace and it is utterly reprehensible
