[redacted] ordered a custom hockey bag on 12/10/I emailed him directly upon receiving the order because he requested the number ‘06’on the bag- I wanted to double check whether or not he truly wanted the ‘0’ includedHe replied to proceed with the number Nowhere in the order did it indicate to print the number in a specific color- so I proceeded with white which is what I normally do on dark bagsAfter he received the bag, I got an email saying the material I used wasn’t the same as his old bag, and the name printed was a ‘cheap looking’ stickerMr [redacted] also complained that I included a company logo of my own- something I normally do on all my bag ordersHe then said he went out and bought his daughter a new bag that she couldn’t be seen carrying this cheap bag, that he was sending it back to meUpon receiving this email I responded back to Mr [redacted] asking if he had read my description online of what my bags are made ofMy website also indicates how I print names or numbers on my bags, as well as my company logoIt clearly states there are no returns on custom ordersHe then decided to print a harassing review on my face book page saying, “You can take your bag and shove it up your ***! Your product looks cheap and ***! Typical ***er.” He proceeds on to discourage potential customers from buying from my business saying- “Don’t anybody buy his bags they are a piece of st.” I turned him into face book for harassment and they blocked him from my siteI have been up front and cooperative with [redacted] from the beginning and received nothing but disrespect and vulgarity from him in returnThank you for taking the time to hear my side, and I truly hope we can resolve this in a professional mannerThanks, Tony

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Looks like this will never be resolved, I hope that other people at least read through these notes to know that Tony's makes a cheap looking product and doesn't stand behind itThe bag never should have had white letter-numbers, I never asked for anything to be whiteThe way I see it the bag was made incorrectly (adding the white) and should be returnableJust happy that I opened the box prior to giving the bag to my daughter for Christmas, would have hated to see her face when she looked at that bagLuckily was able to find a better product at a local shop, thank godI feel I've done my part trying to resolve this dispute, I will continue to send out negative messages trying to help out further unsuspecting customers from buying his productsRegards,*** ***

February 9, 2016I understand Mr. [redacted] thinks he is compromising by offering to accept a 50% return on his money. However, I’d like to point out my return policy as clearly listed below which is available on my webpage for all customers to review before their purchase. Tony’s Canvas Return PolicyThere are no returns on custom made products, make sure you specify what options you want for your order because after you make it we will be processing your order. Tony’s Canvas & Leather will warranty your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 60 days from the original purchase date. If a product is covered by this warranty Tony’s Canvas will repair at our discretion using new or refurbished components. The warranty does not cover lost or stolen items, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, or improper storage conditions, you pay for shipping one way I will pay for return shipping.Line one clearly states there are no returns on custom orders. This has been my practice for over 10 years and I have never had such a backlash with a customer as I’ve had with [redacted]. His argument all along has been passing the blame- blame that he did not specify colors in his order, blame that my response simply stating  my bags are not cheap caused him to ‘lose his cool’ and blame for not fully reading and understanding my return policy.  Like most businesses this policy was created to protect my business.  [redacted] is requesting I turn my back on this policy and settle with him 50 / 50 on the price. I ask what the point of having a policy is if you are making exceptions to it?  Though I would very much like to resolve this issue I do not feel comfortable subjecting myself to his request and turning my back on a policy that has been in place since my business was created over 10 years ago.  e...
