Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business. The issues that the customer is having are separate issues. The customer was not happy with the price of the original bill and so he was given an additional 200 break off the price. About a week later the customer called back and said that it was not working...

well. The issue was a completely different problem. After this problem was fixed the customer did not want to pay for the problem.  He has since told the customer that due to his behavior that it is best their business relationship stop at this time. Due to the continued unwanted contact by the customer the second invoice was torn up for the additional service.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]Simply look at his review on [redacted], this guy has been robbing customers, I wish I had check that first. My unit was fine and had no licks, he is the repair man, how does he know there is lick without him coming back to check the unit. I need him to come fix and honor his warranty

Review: Tony came to my home to look at cabinet with sink to be installed in the loft of my new home, purchased 11/2015 from [redacted] in the [redacted] subdivision in H**over County. Tony gave me ** estimate, **d said that he would start the following Saturday. Tony called me the day before the work was to begin, to let me know that his friend, also named Tony would be doing the work.

The person beg** the work. I found issues such as his cutting the opening for the sink in my neighbors yard. Later, I saw that he did not place the cabinet in the location where we discussed, causing the hole from sheetrock repair to be visible. The second Tony said that he would return the following week to complete the job.

I work out of town during the week. The next week, he told me that he would have to re-do the plumbing because of a "hissing" noise. I did not see the visible damage until he left our home--the hissing was a slow leak that had spread water through the wall **d onto the subflooring of the adjacent bathroom, where the plumbing was attached onto for the loft sink.

I asked the original Tony to come to my home to see the damage. He described his friend's work as "shoddy". The cabinet was attached to the wall on top of the electrical outlet cover. I have extensive photographs of damage to the cabinet, sheetrock in foyer, carpet in loft, **d subflooring in the adjacent bathroom.

Tony promised that ** insur**ce adjuster would be in touch with me. No one has called me, **d Tony will not return my calls.Desired Settlement: I w**t to be compensated for the water damage to the loft carpet, the cabinet that was installed, the sheetrock in foyer, **d the flooring **d subflooring in the adjacent bathroom, which was warped. This is a br**d new [redacted] home, **d was in perfect condition before his work. I have had a contractor give me ** estimate to fix the sheetrock **d cabinet. He would not give ** estimate for the flooring, as the repair will involve subflooring repair **d replacement of existing flooring in the bathroom.

He states that he explained to the customer that he couldn't do the work, but would give her the number of someone he knew who might be able to. He said that he is no way responsible for the damage as he didn't perform the work **d did not receive payment or have a contract with the complain**t.

I have reviewed the offer **d/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], **d have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Tony C[redacted] came to my home to provide estimate. When he called to say that "his guy" Tony T** would be coming to our home to start the work, he advised me to only pay him directly--not to pay Mr. T**. Tony C[redacted] had ownership of this work, **d had Mr. T** complete the work under Mr. C[redacted]'s plumbing license. Mr. C[redacted] advised Mr. T** that he would do the work under his plumbing license, since Mr. T** is not licensed.I now have damage to my bathroom floor, where the plumbing was connectI will now take the following action:--file a complaint against Tony C[redacted]'s plumbing license #[redacted], DBA T C H**dym** Service, under Dept Professional **d Occupational Regulation--go to H**over County Clerk's office to file for a court hearing--file a lien against Tony C[redacted]'s business for the cost of repairing the damage due to the plumbing leak

Regards,

A home warranty company sent Tony to me for repair of a dryer. He fixed the dryer I paid the deductible and he left, It worked 1 time, I called him he stated he could not come back because the warranty company owes him money. He ended up coming back no appointment a week later. He stated if I paid him he would fix the dryer. I knew I shouldn't have done it but I was on 2 weeks without it. I gave him $85 and he claimed he fixed it and it was running when he left and soon as I cut it off and tried to restart it would not start again. I called him he stated the dryer is working and hung up the phone. I was very uncomfortable with him in my home. He was always looking around and acted strange.

Review: We hired [redacted] to fix our a faulty AC system we inherited when we rented our retail space. He gave us a low estimate over the phone saying that he could have our fan motors rebuilt instead of replaced. Once here, he determined that they needed to be replaced, for three times the amount, and completed the work without giving us the estimate first. Ok, understandable it needed to be fixed, but the next day the system was not working again. it took three days to get in touch with [redacted], he said there would be another estimate fee for him to come out, I replied that would depend on what was wrong, as he offered complete guarantee on his work. I told him specifically to speak to me to get approval before doing any work, unlike last time. He shows up demanding an additional couple hundred dollars, that he had found a "bad contact" and had fixed it. I was upset to say the least since I had asked for an estimate, and was more than clear on the issue. He deducted the bill to $120. WELL, the air was STILL not working, so we had to hire another company the next day, who fixed everything in one day. They found that [redacted] had installed the wrong motors, so they had burned out within that first 24 hr period. they also found the entire wiring system for the units was torn up and rewired incorrectly, causing shorts and damage to the system. [redacted] offers a complete money back guarantee for his services and equipment on his website so we have contacted and mailed [redacted] numerous times to give him his incorrect motors back and receive our refund, TO NO AVAIL. He will not respond in any manner.Desired Settlement: We feel that we have the right to a complete refund from Tony's as his product and services were improper and negligible.

No offer to rectify the situation was made at all. [redacted] says we didn't like his price for original work, AS YOU SEE IN OUR COMPLAINT our issue was that he completed the work, then billed us for an estimate we never received, and labor and parts, AFTER HE HAD DONE THE WORK WHEN HE HAD AGREED TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE FIRST! We had no choice but to pay him, THEN it was still not working , we called THE NEXT DAY, NOT a week later like he says, and CONTINUED CALLING everyday until he finally called back 3 days later, and ONCE AGAIN did work without giving us an estimate even though WE WERE CLEAR THAT WE NEEDED ESTIMATE FIRST once again! our PROBLEM is that the work had to be REDONE due to his negligence and shoddy work, and use of wrong parts! [redacted] ADVERTISES a MONEY BACK GUARRANTEE and we are certainly due JUST THAT!

Regards,

We called [redacted] because our home warranty company asked that we use him. We called [redacted] and scheduled him to come onsite. He was able to arrive the same day which was good. While onsite he carried conversations to a point which were awkward and somewhat lewd in nature. He proceeded to walk around our house like he owned the place. I believe he was looking to drum up additional business but it really just felt like he sized us up and preceded to "case the joint". Just unprofessional. [redacted] trip charge magically was exactly the amount of our warranty deductible. [redacted] also proceeded to tell us that our appliance breakage would be covered and happily accepted his fee. It came as a surprise to us that appliance would not be covered by the home warranty company. The warranty company told us that [redacted] knew this prior to coming out. He should have never accepted the service call as our specific situation simply isn't covered. So overall it felt like extortion. Bottom line, I wouldn't have hired him personally and would suggest you do the same.
