You are not being completely truthful in your explanation. You also repeatedly express your sorrow that we had to purchase a new trimmer. We did not. We found a reputable, local business that was able to fix our trimmer. It's interesting you also comment several times about how you offer a valuable service to the community and you are so concerned about your customers. The same day my husband was in to pick up our broken trimmer, there was another female customer complaining about something you had done to her lawnmower. Bottom line, your business is not honest. If I spent $20 to learn that, I'll chalk it up to money well spent.

We will gladly refund your $20 if you can show us proof an EPA-compliant repair with the receipt and name of the local business who conducted your repair.
We know that given the time we spent on your equipment, the machine would not run properly. Loose parts were brought in with the machine in a plastic bag and a home repair was attempted. We do not feel the truth is being told here. We are an authorized [redacted] dealer charged with the responsibility of conducting an emission-compliant repair.
We also draw the line at dealing with verbally abusive customers who swear at our employees. That is NOT how we choose to deal with others.
We have thousands of satisfied, wonderful customers who have been dealing with us for 30 or more years.

You are dishonest and unethical. If you are accusing my husband of swearing at your employee, that clarifies how dishonest you are. Your employee lied and said there were a bunch of missing parts, and then managed to 'find' them in a bag in the back? Our blower is working, and we paid you $20 not to fix it, but instead to learn a valuable lesson that your place of business is a scam. You may have "thousands" of satisfied customers, but you also treat people poorly (e.g. the little old lady who you told that her year-old lawnmower couldn't be repaired and she should just buy a new one from you). Keep your $20 and buy yourself some honesty and ethics.
