I’m a Businessman, so when I encounter any business person that has a great definition and scope how business should happen it’s very enjoyable. It was a good job Tony and his crew performed, it was over the top. I was having problems with my insurance company, not knowing what to do or how to handle it Tony G stepped in with years of experience and turn my insurance company claim of $900 into the actual value of damages to $21,000. This amount of money is what it took to actually repair all the damage from the tornado that I had suffered. Tony explained everything, I was never left in the dark wondering what was going to happen. Thanks Tony and thank your crew for me also super professional.
Kevin:

After several attempts to get 2 differwnt sets of people over for painting, we told Tony we would find someone else to complete job. He continued to hound us for the money for painting that we told him he wasnt doing. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY

Bad business stay away. Installed a roof and the contractors did a awful job. Then the so called owner threatened to put a lean on my home. Which I will not pay the final till they replace the crappy roof that was installed. They also damaged a water line and didn’t want to repair it. I’ve been back and forth with the immature so called owner. He said that the shingles that were installed were giving them problems and that we had to fill out a warranty paper. But it’s not the shingles it’s the installation and the water damaged corner of my home is still there. I had to repair it on my open because it was leaking behind the Sheetrock and was never noticed for a few months. The siding of the house is stained because of the months of water damage and once it finally showed in the Sheetrock I called. He then said he wasn’t responsible and said he would put a lean on my home. I stated the roof install was wrong from the beginning and I called the next day. He sent us a warranty form or something blaming it on the shingles and now says “the roof was sold deal with it or loose my home to him. Please stay away bad company bad childish owner bad business ethics. Buyers beware!!!!!

There was never a roof leak, leak was from a pipe within the attic which homeowner denied that their could be a chance of a pipe running through the attic because he’s been doing construction all he’s life? We scheduled an appointment with Mr M to attempt to open the Sheetrock to see the actual cause of the leak and he told my painting crew to leave. After serval days Mrs M allowed us to open the Sheetrock where it was leaking and we found that their was in fact a pipe that was leaking this entire time. We have several pictures of the pipe leaking that had nothing to do with the roof, I have asked several times for Mr M to send me his pictures proving that it was a roofing issue with no success. We have been professional with the homeowners throughout this process, all conversations via email, and all our actions have been documented with time/ date stamped. Every time I the Owner have had a conversation with Mr M he would use profound language and he would text me insulating and harassing text messages. FYI I have them printed out and saved for proof.
Bottom line, we have completed roof over a year ago and found the actual source of the leak and now we need to get paid the remaining balance!

Tony’s Roofing did a horrible job on our roof. Their roofers did not install our shingles properly. There was folds, overlapping and other issues with the workmanship. We paid half of the work and the other half was due at completion. We were never satisfied with the roof. We had Tony’s Roofing come out to address the issues we were having and the roof was never fixed. It was left unattended to until we started to get a leak on the corner of our house. There was a nail from the roof the pierced a water line which caused it to leak, ultimately leading to mold and ruining the interior and exterior of our house. Tony’s roofing insisted it was a manufacturing defect and wanted us to get in contact with the manufacturer to get new shingles because the shingles the company was pushing at the time were defective. It was not a manufacturing issue it was an installation issue. Tony’s roofing came and took a sample piece of some shingles and now we are left with a bigger issue. Tony’s roofing is now demanding payment and threatening to put a lien on our home. Meanwhile our roof is left worse than before and still not completed.

been trying to collect balance for two years but the consumer refuses to pay as the roof is leaking but it was determined the leaking was caused inside the house by a broken pipe

Just had a metal roof done and metal patio built by Tony’s roofing. They did a fabulous job. Wish I could post a picture! Recommend for sure.

I recently had my roof completed and this company provided the best customer services, the clean up was awesome and my roof looks amazing. This is the 2nd' time I have used Tony's roofing services on 2 different houses and I would recommend anyone that wants the best quality and best roofing services.

I have been trying to reach Tony's Roofing for 5 days. I have called the office, the mobile phone, and a 3rd phone number on their web page. I leave multiple messages a day. They never return my phone calls. When I had a pipe jack repaired I found out that the shingles which were installed by Tony's Roofing were cracking and still under warranty. I also found out that they did not install the type of jacks they indicated in my estimate when I had the new roof installed. I would also add that while we negotiated the new roof, I indicated I wanted the installation to be delayed for a week while I went out of state. I added language to this effect on the service contract. I was out of state when my neighbors called to inform me that the installation was taking place while I was gone. Then, they asked for final payment before finishing the roofing job. I had to point out that they weren't supposed to initiate the job for another 4 days. Serious management issues with this company. And now, it appears they avoid any warranty work.

My roof has been repaired since Nov.2017 due to Hurricane Harvey. Since the tropical storm that came thru about two weeks ago it now have leaks. My warranty is 10 years and Tony roofing will not come out to fix it. Tony roofing states I owe them 2500, due to work I did not know of and I do not have a sigh paper stated he needed more funds. I already paid tony roofing of 11130., but my insurance only gave me a little over 9000 for the roof. I had ask for an itemized statement showing what they did but he refuses to sent it to me. Now I am stuck with no one to fix roof . And no one will fix my ceiling due to my roof. I am not happy with the service Tony has proved due to boards thst are not nailed in right.. I was promised of painting to but that was not done either. and there were nails all over my yard where I had flat tires on my tractor because they did not do a good sweep when finish as I was promised. Also one side of my house above my gargage has a dip, I had ask them to come out and correct it and they have not, along with crack boards. I am not sure, but I think they had people that where immigrants fixing my home that had no experience.

Response to Revdex.com complaint that was submitted on 7/3/2018 and was assigned an ID of ***

Regarding:

Cus***er Information: *** Refugio, TX 78377 Daytime Phone: *** E-mail: ***

Tony’s roofing services signed a contract with *** for roof replacement and fascia repairs. Tony’s roofing services has been in contact with the cus***er regarding her concerns. In Dec. 2017 Ms. expressed concern with a dip in roof above garage. In Jan. 2018 *** went to the property to inspect the roof and fascia that was completed by TRS. He did not find any issues with installation. He did report that the slope in the garage is due to structural of the house, not due to installation from roof materials. Tony’s roofing services rep, *** spoke with *** on 1/15/2018 and explained inspection was done and no issues were found.

On or about 3/25/2018 cus***er, ***, hired a contractor *** with ***. After Tony’s roofing services rep *** received a call from *** stating he was on the roof, lifting shingles and inspected the installation stating the cus***er had concerns that there was not a ridge vent. Tony *** was contacted, and he went to the property to understand what was going on. After reviewing the text message and pictures from *** being on the roof lifting shingles in multiple sections of the roof it was determined and advised to the new contractor and the cus***er that Tony’s roofing services warranty would no longer be valid. As part of our contract states line 26. TRS shall be notified within 7 days if any concerns of roof installation. TRS shall have the opportunity to inspect the roof installation. Since the cus***er had a different contractor inspect the roof we can no longer be sure that any issues that may come from the roof are due to our installation.

Regarding the tropical storm that was responsible for creating a leak the week of June 19th 2018 at the cus***ers house, as stated in her complaint. Tony’s roofing services rep *** spoke with cus***er *** on 7/3/2018. Tony’s roofing services was willing to work with the cus***er and come out and inspect the roof. The cus***er could not commit to a time that she would be available to meet due to her mother being ill and her responsibilities to care for her. We tentatively set a time for the following Saturday, however Cus***er never called to confirm.

Ms. stated she had her insurance and/or an inspector that found issues with the roof, TRS has asked for their report or a phone number and name, on several occasions to find out what issues Ms. is referring to, but no information has been provided. Tony’s roofing services has had this roof inspected by a Texas Windstorm Inspector and it has passed the inspection per manufacturer installation requirements. The remaining balance was also discussed on this call. Tony’s roofing services signed a contract for $11,130.30, price subject to change if insurance approves any roof supplements, supplement payment shall go to Tony’s roofing services. Insurance approved $2570.99 for additional roofing expenses. The cus***er has refused to pay the additional amount to Tony’s roofing services on multiple attempts. Tony’s roofing services has tried every avenue to work with *** and resolve any issues/concerns.

Sincerely,

Tony's roofing services LLC

I am rejecting this response because:

Good afternoon, I sent two items one from Texas Farm Buearu , concern o f contrators negligence Policy number *** and claim number 425323. The other is what Tony Roofing wants to charge 2570, upgrade to ridge$ 280, prime and paint $ 101, gable cornice reture$ 83. ,, additional fascia boards $472, and tarp $1320. It was only 10 boards that Tony replace. When I spoke and sign contract with *** the fascial boards was included. The Insurance allowed me $8894.00. Also when *** promise that they would be a week to get to my home, they took over three weeks. I ask for tarp because it was going to rain and I didn't want any more damage to the inside. But Tony roofing did not go as promise and my home was getting wet after I was told it would be next following week. So as to tarp, tony roofing never left it with me.and he took to long to get to my house .As for *** I spoke to him about my inside ceiling to give me a quote, he saw the garage with the dip and went to look at it, I never told him to go up there ,he was just concern. Also I have spoke to *** and Tony many times to go fix it even when Tony came to pick up second check. That is long before *** got involved.I think it was stated on what is written to you. On July 5 ,I did call *** and left message to call me back because I had a question. To tell her about the time and to question why was Tony Roofing at my house on July 2. 2018 taking pictures of my home. I have a witness to that. Please let me know if you received the items I sent you. Try to sent again.

Revdex.com Response ***:

Concern for contractor negligent documents that were attached to the complaint does not state that there was any negligence by Tony’s roofing services, only that Farm Bureau does not cover contractor negligence. Inspection reports of negligence have not been received by Tony’s roofing services. We respectfully ask for the insurance companies documentation of contractor negligence that you are referring to. Tony’s roofing services did pay for a Texas Windstorm Inspector to come out and inspect the roof. The report came back March 23, 2018 that the roof meets the Texas Department of Insurance Windstorm requirements 100%. This certification is still pending to update on the TDI web-site, however confirmation of the report status can be given by phone through the inspection office at:

***

The additional money agreed upon at time of contract signing was for additional fascia boards, trim boards material and labor and the additional upgrades.

Farm Bureau claim: ***

Ins. Paid for 25yr shingles (Line item: 11)- Tony’s roofing services upgraded to 50 yr shingle

Ins. Paid for 3 Turbines (Line item: 2)- Tony’s roofing services upgraded to 78 LF of Ridge Vents

Ins. Paid for 30 LF of new Fascia Board (1 x 6 boards) (Line item 14)-

Tony’s roofing installed:
160 LF of 1 x 6 boards, 72 LF of 1 x 2 boards, 24 LF of 1 x 4 boards, 64 LF of 1 x 8 boards, 88 LF of 1 x 2 boards as well as some soffit repair

Tony’s roofing services installed temporary tarp that was to prevent interior damage, the temporary tarp is a onetime use and it is not standard practice to leave the used tarp or any other debris for the homeowner.

The original insurance estimate allows= $8894.02 for the roof and $199.29 for fascia, the revised insurance estimate allows $11,412.63 for the roof and $227.73 for the fascia= $2547.05 plus difference in sales tax on those item =$2570.00

Regarding the supplement for additional roofing expenses, Tony’s roofing services is ONLY requesting the amount the insurance paid additionally on the work we did as stated on the contract. Tony’s roofing services confirmed with *** that an additional supplement check came for the roofing supplements in the amount of $2570.00 on multiple conversations. She has refused to pay the additional amount stating the roof is not installed right.

Since the Texas Windstorm Inspector reported this home was installed 100% by windstorm requirement on 3/23/2018. The homeowner hired another contractor (***) who sent Tony’s roofing services pictures of himself lifting shingles in multiple areas on the roof on 3/25/2018 it was determined and advised to the new contractor and the cus***er that Tony’s roofing services warranty would no longer be valid.

Tony’s roofing services has confirmed the installation of the roof was installed 100% to the Texas windstorm requirements as of 3/23/2018.

Contract amount $11,130.00 was paid on 11/5/2017. Tony’s roofing services requested the additional supplement, and *** (Farm Bureau adjuster) agreed to send out the additional funds for the roof and price increase on 11/20/2017. *** confirmed on 11/29/2017 she received the supplement check but did not want to pay until the roof above the garage was looked at. The roof was looked at and advised that there are no issues with the roof installation. Texas windstorm Inspector confirmed roof meets 100% of TDI requirements 3/23/2018. We would like to be paid the amount Texas Farm Bureau sent out for the roof and fascia.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:
I have read message from Revdex.com but I seen to have erased it. I did read message as to what Tony Roofing is stated, but I have mentioned before I never hired *** from *** for the roof. He was concern about the dip and if Tony can prove Where Mr . *** was at when he was pulling the shingles off and to where my leak is then Tony is still reponisable for my roof. Tony never ask or even called me for a balance of the 2500. I received a check from Texas Farm Bureau as to why is a check for me of the 2500. *** stated it was for Tony roofing. I WAS NEVER INFORMED on Additional work or anything else. As for Tony Roofing when *** called me an ask for the 2500, I stated Tony needed to come back an fix the dip on my roof. This issue as been on going since Nov 2017, and tony refuses to come back out and correct because he does not want to. He is breaking the breech of contract. Tony had months before *** came to see my home. Altas cons. was there only for ceiling, not roof, Altas con. is concern about the dip. and now its from my front pouch to my gargage. Tony roofing never stated to me that *** has broken the contract neither in writing or verble. Tony roofing refuses to come back and fix my roof he is trying to put it back on someone else using *** as the responsible party. Tony had since Nov. when he pick up last check to come fix the problem *** did not come by to see my home not until March 2018. Four months from the time I told Tony roofing and he still did not come fix my roof why is he wanted to blame and stated I no longer have a warrenty..As to why Tony never came to fix my roof in Nov. I spoke to him about this and he never came out . Tony is still responsible for my roof. If my roof would have been done right I wouldn't be having any leaks. I will call Teas Farm Bureau on the neglance.. and get aastatement. Please concern as to why Tony never came back in Nov. when the issues where address to him. What was to why Tony roofing could of came back to fix my roof in Nov. Tony never called to reschedule to look at the roof again. Or when could he come back out to fix my roof. Never was that address to me since Nov.

Regards

We just had our roof replaced by tony's roofing services after a hail storm and it has been a real positive experience from start to finish!! We were very pleased with the communication, pricing and timeliness of the work after signing the contract. Would highly recommend tony's roofing services!!! The work was superb!!!!!!!

Owner; ***, Estimator; and ***, Salesman are overcharging my insurance company with false deceptive statements and demands w/o my approval or knowledge, of the amount we originally agreed to on his contract-which he violated right off the bat. He said he give me a 50 yr roof, but only installed a 20yr. waterproof under-layment and 30 yr. shingles. He charged me, shorted me on materials to complete my whole roof system, to wit: skylight, lead pipe jacks, 32 pieces of metal edge trim, a heater furnace vent and all the high performance "Certainteed" Felt/under-layment. His workers who did not speak English at all needed Mr. Pardo to try to interpret, but Mr. Pardo does not speak or understand Spanish, as I witnessed him trying to communicate with the crew. The crew needed constant supervision, did appear trained in the "Certainteed" roofing school of instruction and still committed some shortcuts and mishaps. I stayed here both days and watched them like a hawk after I realized I may have made a terrible/expensive mistake by hiring these guys. Hurricane Harvey devastated most of my area and thus is why I feel cheated and manipulated in a time of disaster, when people's hearts should be compelled to do good. Today, 12-21-17, I wanted to pay the final payment to Mr. *** and Mr. *** with what was fair-minus the items they said they did, performed or replaced. Mr. ***, refused my offer to settle and threatened me with a lawsuit and expensive lawyers and he said he would put a lien on my property. Note: I have already paid Tony's Roofing $7399.95 for the mess he made. Note: These people at Tony's seem to lie/deceive perpetually, I would be hesitate to communicate with them because they tend to be dishonest and manipulative.

Tony's Roofing Services Response

Regarding Complaint #***We believe that this complaint is no longer valid as it has been resolved and last communication with the home owner was pleasant and resolve.
Tony's roofing services has had some difficulty working with Mr. during this process. I do admit there were some hiccups with the skylights Mr. wanted installed, as his insurance only covered to replace one and if installed they would not match. However addressing the concerns listed in this complaint. I have attached several documents for your review. Once the roofing project was completed, we sent a supplement to the insurance company, it was approved by the adjuster and an additional check went out to the home owner for the "steep charges". The home owner was very insistence that he did not want to pay any more than the contract amount. It was previously explained to the home owner that if there was any additional repairs or supplemented items that were needed, Tony's roofing services would send the request to the insurance and if they were approved by the insurance, that money would go to Tony's roofing services as stated on the signed contract (attached). After several attempts of trying to explain and address concerns to the homeowner we believed he was trying to just keep the money and doing his best to complain in hopes we would allow him to pay the contract amount. He even went as far as advising his insurance company not release any information to us to try to resolve the issue. The home owner had many complaints listed in an email that Tony ***, *** and *** addressed with the homeowner and confirmed all his accusations to be incorrect. In the end the home owner did do the right thing and pay the amount that was owed, and sent a text message (attached) "I was in a bad mood and had the devil in me."We believe that this complaint is no longer valid as it has been resolved and last communication with the home owner was pleasant and concerns resolved. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. Attachments:

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

This company still has not apologized for the overcharges and also that they will cease from attempting to deceive other innocent victims needing roofs and their insurance companies for more then the agreed contract price.

During the past few months my family and I have had the necessity to build a fence around our home for security reasons. Although Tony's a Roofing is not from Wisconsin Tony took on the job and flew into Milwaukee along with one of his coworkers. In a few days they managed to complete the project professionally and without disturbing our daily schedules. Tony took total control of the project by having all the materials pre-ordered. He kept the project under our budget and yet managed to order top quality materials. Our home is now more secure and has received many compliments from our neighbors. Thank you Tony for going the extra mile in making our home safer and more beautiful with our new Cedar fence and for the extra addition of our "beautiful flower bed".

Tony did an excellent job on our roof. We paid exactly what he said we would pay to have our new roof installed. I was impressed that Tony himself was at our house supervising and helping out several times, even though I know he had several other homes to work on. This was after hurricane Harvey, and even though he was not local to Victoria, he and his sales representative, Rene, consistently responded to my phone calls and text messages whenever I had a question.
