Review: Tony's Roofing in Oxnard performed a roof certification or so they claim prior to us moving into our home in June 2012.The certification as we know it to be is for 1 year. However with the latest storm we had on Friday February 28, 2014 - March 2, 2014, we sustained much damage to our home from roof leaks.21 leaks to be exact. My insurance company is removing interior walls, saturated insulation, door casings, baseboards, medicine cabinets, etc.The insurance company has deemed all 21 leaks are from the roof and flashing areas.Now, maybe not all of the leaks were present when the certification was performed but according to my insurance company many if not all would have been caught if a roof certification was correctly performed. In other words I have not gotten 21 new leaks since June, 2012. The damage amount occurred is in the thousands of dollars, and it is of my opinion that most if not all should and could have been prevented.My real estate company used to purchase my house has been alerted and have come to my home to see first hand the damage. They have stated that the company will never be used again for a certification and are saddened to see the damage caused.Thank you for your time and allowing me to vent my frustration!Desired Settlement: The roof certification cost was $750.00 but if that is not possible then having the Revdex.com know of what was not found and or corrected in the "roof certification" and what type of certification this company is giving home buyers.To have the lack of work record regarding this company reported is at a minimal.
