immediately. Due to availability of parts, immediate repair was not possible for the same day. We located the part required to repair the vehicle (ignition cylinder) the following day. The customer was called and made aware of the situation with the availability of the part as soon as we were informed of its availability. The customer was informed of price for the part, price for reprogramming of the key, and labor. The customer authorized the repair on the vehicle verbally by phone. Vehicle was picked up the next day and the customer left satisfied with work completed. Subsequently she called us back to inform us that she will be placing a complaint with AAA. Soon after doing so, AAA club of New York representative had contacted us to makes us aware of the complaint, for the reason of over charges. We supplied AAA with invoices of the purchase of the part and explained that the part was purchased by us through our part supply company. We bought a OEM part through our part supplier because the Ford dealer did not have it in stock. Our part supply company automatic issues a mark up on parts bought through the dealer and than sold to us. This was explained to AAA along with the receipts to prove all purchases by us. After AAA reviewed the complaint along with all documents provided to them, they decided that no wrong doing or over charging was done on our part. After her complaint being dismissed by AAA Ms. Hunnicutt than continued to place complaints with motor vehicles, consumer affairs which were also dismissed. If you have any questions please contact us at [redacted]
Review: Got my car towed to this shop and was told that car could not be moved to another shop without damaging it. I later found out that this was not true. "[redacted]" charged an outrageous price for parts and labor, and the car still is not working properly.Desired Settlement: Refund of some of the charge and to have the remote properly programmed.

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I feel I WAS overcharged. AAA actually refunded money to me in response to my complaint, by the way. Also, my repair was not satisfactory, as the remote key system does not work as it should.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,
Consumer
