Complaint Information: Mrs. [redacted] came in for a flat tire that she drove on flat. When you get a flat tire you jack up car put spare tire on car and bring tire to fix. When you drive on tire that is flat you void all warranty. Most warranty's are for mileage not road hazard. Could not replace tire for free but did offer a reduced price to replace tire.

I don't understand the whole discriminating about being young and flashy car. We do tires and wheels on [redacted] and [redacted] all the time. The snow tires were being put into bags because if the car is really nice we don't put the tires in a car because the customer may pick them up with another...

vehicle and may not want tires in their car. We do a high volume of cars I [redacted] wish I could shake every hand and thank every customer personally its just not possible. As far as any of my employees using profanity is not tolerated at any time and they would be fired on the spot. All he had to do was bring it to my attention. When he entered the shop area sorry he was not greeted by my busy employees with the respect he thought he should receive sometimes you might have to give the person doing the service a couple a minutes to complete a task. Being nineteen in a tire shop and not feeling comfortable is out of my control. As far as the TPMS light their is a procedure for every vehicle, We do the TPMS service for over  twenty different shops in the area and have several thousand dollars in equipment for this service. Again if their was a problem with the TPMS light all he had to do was come back and we could of reset it. I'm at the shop seventy hours a week and have not received a call in regard's to these incident.

Review: I purchased 4 brand new tires at the end of May 2015 and one tire just blew out last week. The Business did not honor warranty and made us pay for another tire. This tire was defective and should've been replaced at no cost. We would like a refund for the tire. The owner of this establishment has also been recently arrested for stealing tires from local dealerships and selling them in his garage. He is a shady businessman who screws his customers. He and his staff are very rude and intimidate customers. We want our $50 backDesired Settlement: Refund

Review: I went to Tony's Tires and Wheels on 10/18/2013 to buy tires for my 1990 Ford Mustang. I purchased a set of 4 Cooper CS4 Tires at this time.I had a set of 4 1989 Mustang Rims that I had just gotten refurbished in my vehicle at the time of my arrival. I then asked the older gentleman that was putting the new tires on my refurbished rims, if he could be careful with them, and his response was he was using a $14,000 machine to do it, and not to worry. He in fact, did an excellent job. On the other hand, while he was putting them together, a couple of other servicemen started to take off the tires and rims that were on the car. At the time of my arrival the tires and rims that were on my car, were in pristine condition. When they were done with the job, I asked [redacted] the owner, if I could come back another day for the tires, and rims they took off the car, and his response was, if I didn't come back for them when I said I would, they would end up in the scrap pile.I ended picking them up Monday morning the 21st of Oct.That evening when I was taking them out of my vehicle, I noticed that there were chips, and scratches all over my center caps and rims, all four of them.I then called and asked to speak to Tony the owner. When I told him the situation, he told me to stop down, right then, I told him I would come down on Thursday, he said okay. When I arrived with a friend as a witness, I told Tony I wasn't there to argue, or debate if the rims were damaged at his shop.At this time he started getting loud and obnoxious. He then said, I was saying, that he had some F&$# rd that works for him, that did this to my rims, I responded yes, exactly that. He then said, what did I expect him to do. I told him to have them repaired, and that's when he went off, he then picked up 1 rim and tire, and threw it in the back of my SUV. At this time I told him not to touch another tire.He then accused me of damaging my rims, so I could make some money off the deal. All through this ordeal,HE WAS TOTALLY RUDE...Desired Settlement: Repair center caps, and rims... That's what they damaged.

Response:

Mr. McKenna came into my shop to have four tires mounted on four rims he had painted. The painted wheels were not clear coated just painted. But that is not his complaint he had four wheels and tires on his car, which we took off and replaced with the four painted wheels. The wheels on the car were factory Ford Mustang wheels which are alloy with a plastic center cap. The center cap has a small notch to use a tool to pull the center cap off the center of the wheel. We use a plastic tool to avoid chipping the wheel in the one spot where the notch is. To remove the center cap one time would not cause the multiple chips all around the center cap which he claims we did taking the wheels off his car. Mr. McKenna came back and picked up his wheels which were place in plastic bags. Later that day he called and told me his wheels were chipped up and he is very upset. I told Mr. McKenna to bring the wheels down so I can see them and he could not that day. Mr. McKenna retuned with the wheels and voiced his complaint I looked at the wheels showed him the tool we use to remove the caps. The chips were not all fresh some were old with built up dirt and grim in them. He wanted me to refinish the wheels. The damage to his wheels was not done here and he was trying to sell the wheels to one of my employees for $300.00

We took such care to mount his painted wheels which are almost impossible to mount without chipping do to the lack of clear coat. Then chip the factory wheels center cap which is notch in one place to remove it. The wheels had multiple chips all around the cap. He asked me what I was going to do to fix wheels, I told him to look me in my face honestly and tell me that he thinks it happened here and he got offended kind of like I did. Did not happen here.

I am rejecting this response because:

Sincerely,

James Mckenna III To Whom it may concern, There is not one thing in Tony's response that is the TRUTH. First and foremost, the day I brought the tires and rims back to Tonys Tires and Wheels, I brought RICKY CYR, a friend of mine. Ricky buys and sells High End older cars and trucks mostly antiques, and makes a good living doing so. I brought him as a witness, and I'm glad I did. At the time of this incident, I had my Mustang garaged at his residence. He will confirm under Oath, if need be, along with seven other witnessess, that those rims were in pristine condition when I brought them to Tonys Tires and Wheels. When Tony stated in his response, that the tires and rims were put in plastic bags, THAT IS A BLATANT LIE... When he stated he showed us a plastic tool, used to take off the center caps with, THAT IS A BLATANT LIE... As far as me trying to sell the tires and rims to an employee of his, this is how that went. While I was outside waiting for my car to be finished, a gentleman that was doing my front end allignment, approached me and asked if I was interested in selling the tires and rims, I said yes I would like to get $500.00 for them, he asked at this time if I would take $400.00 for them, I told him I would let him know. When I returned to pick them up, I asked him if he was still interested in buying them, he said no. When they were on the car he was begging me to sell them to him, when they were off the car all scratched and chipped, he didn't want anything to do with them. With that all being said, like it says in other reviews about dealing with Tony's Tires and Wheels, you can get good prices there, but when something goes wrong, Tony doesn't want to here it. Tony is not a honest person, he should not be allowed to be in this business, and deal with the public, he is obnoxious, and has an animal type temper. I WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH TONYS TIRES AND WHEELS AGAIN.... Revdex.com PLEASE MAKE HIM PAY FOR HIS WRONG DOINGS... OR HE'LL CONTINUE TO DO THIS TYPE OF THING, TO OTHER INNOCENT CUSTOMERS... PLEASE PROTECT US, FROM HIS KIND...

Response:

IT IS AMAZING THAT THIS CUSTOMER NEVER BEEN TO MY SHOP ,IN HIS OWN WORDS BROUGTH A WITNESS FOR PROOF BEFORE THE SAID INCIDENT. HE IS A PROFESSIONAL BEATER WHO IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO PAY FOR HIS WHEELS.

Review: I came down to Tony's tire and wheels expecting to get a new set of tires put on my wheels. Immediately, I recognized they were discriminating me for being young (19 years old) and showing up in a flashy car. I told them I would like to keep the winter tires that were currently on the wheels as they had 80% tread left. This is when the problem began. My car is louder than the regular passenger car and I am very familiar with its sound. I heard them pull the car into the garage bay and they proceeded to rev it up very untastefully. I would never do this even on my own car. I had just purchased the car a few weeks before and this made me very upset they were disrespecting my car in such a fashion. I then went to get the keys from the woman at the front desk and my winter tires were no where to be found. I went back into the office asking about the whereabouts of my winter tires and the woman at the front desk told me to walk into the shop myself and ask, which is not the professional way to go about this. Upon entering the garage I was not greeted kindly by any of the employees. Some of them snarled at me while others ignored my request for the winter tires. One of the older men there said "You want your [redacted] tires?" and proceeded to roll them across the shop at me. I felt very uncomfortable in this situation as I am 19 years old and these men obviously gave no mind about my business at their store. A younger gentlemen helped me place them in my car while the others exchanged rude comments back and forth. Upon starting my car the TPMS light was now on, immediately showing me they had no idea how to properly set up these wheels. I asked about this and the same older bearded man said "You want us to driving your [redacted] car?" and told me I had to drive 20 minutes and the light would go off. I drove 40 miles and the light was still on. This brought me to my first trip to the ** dealer about this problem. They said the shop did not fill up the tires to the correct pressure which is blatantly noted on the door of the car (like every car on Earth). I thought all was well but I went to my ** dealer again for service and they discovered that whoever put the wheels on stripped the lug nuts beyond use. If I had let this go too long, the wheels would be stuck on the vehicle and some major repair would need to be done. I am extremely frustrated with this and have tried to call the store many times. The woman the front desk answers every time and says she'll have [redacted] call me back. I have not received one call and I have called them at least 5 times.Desired Settlement: I would like to speak with the owner of the establishment and get some sort of refund or at least an apology for being treated such as this.

I am rejecting this response because: They avoided my main concerns and blatantly lied about not receiving a call. They revved my car up without my permission and spoke very rudely to me. I can pick out the people who used profanity towards me and I guarantee they would not be fired on the spot. [redacted] seems like he is covering his own back but there are many holes in his response. I am not satisfied.
